How do babies generally cope with the clocks changing, how do you get them used to getting up an hour later?

I would like to know this too. I am dreading it!

I think the trick is too gradually send them too bed that little bit later
Although Eliza still wakes all night and wakes for the day at 5.30am so I've got a v early morning tomorrow I think!

Not sure if I've done it the easiest way but it worked last time. I kept my ds up an extra half hour tonight and so that tomorrow night it's only another half hour later again and he seemed to then sleep in the extra hour in the morning. Hope this helps x

Fuck! Mine fell asleep an hour earlier than usual tonight! :dohh:

Mine went to bed 1/2 hour early because he has dropped his last nap and turned into a right little fuss put between 6-7 (usually last bottle at 7.30)

Not too bad this morning, he woke up at 5 which would have usually been 6

when DS was a baby we gave him his feeds 15 mins later than usual up until bedtime to make an extra hour throughout the day and everything else in our routine would stay the same just 15 mins later this worked for us, so we will be doing the same with DD.
DD went to bed at 6pm last night and woke at 5am (6am) this morning, she is fed every 3hrs so for today it will be 3hrs15mins and bed time the usual 6pm for hopefully a 6pm wake up tomorrow :dohh:

I will try to keep mine up an extra ten minutes for the next six days to try to reset them. Big one gets so tired that she is asleep by 7.30 most days so Ben an extra ten minutes a night may be a struggle. She falls asleep mid-sentence and is impossible to keep awake really!

Mine woke at 7:30, which would have usually been 8:30! Surprisingly, not bad at all - phew!

You are so funny! Mine fell asleep early the past couple of days too. I read an article about this yesterday and like other people have said.......you should put LO to bed 10 minutes later every night a week before the time change. That would mean that we have to start tonight!

Haha we are so crap! By some lucky fluke, my kid woke at 7:30 this morning, but I am quite sure the cracks will soon begin to show ...

6:30 am here. Not too bad ... if she hadn't been up most of the night whining and switching between boobs, not staying on either long enough to actually get any milk. :dohh: Being impatient is her new thing. Hope it stops soon.

Wow, you guys in the UK have done the time change already? I didn't know that. In the US we switch out clocks on Sunday, November 1st.

Yeah we've gone back an hour. Kid is falling asleep as I type! Nooooo! It's just getting earlier and earlier. Poop!

Held Eliza out until 6.45 tonight with the help of her big cousin popping too play.
Hopefully she won't have me up at 4am again!

I thought it was the second Sunday in November?
