If you search for weeds in the garden of flowers you will always find them. The same goes for searching for negative things amongst all the good things about them. As with all medications there are side effects and various symptoms but for the most part provera & clomid are harmless and quite effective. My 6mth baby girl was the result of these medications in which i suffered no side effects.

Hi Ladies! Mind if I join in? I'm new to Clomid and will be taking my first dose this Friday!! I was put on 100mg, Days 5-9. Fingers X'd for all of us! Still trying to decide what time of day to take them... Anyone with suggestions?

I take mine (50mg) in the morning and haven't had any terrible side effects to report, but I'm only on cycle2. I did find that I had some hot flashes, but I seem to prone to those anyways so maybe it was just me Around o time I did have some ovulation "pain". I use that term loosely because it wasn't really pain, but more like a couple twinges. Heck, I'm so happy to ovulate I don't mind any twinges!!

I am now on cycle 3 of clomid. I'm getting a bit worried I may not fall pregnant on it. My last cycle of clomid I did the sperm meets egg plan. No luck so far. I had a bad day yesterday with my emotions, I just wanted to cry because we have been trying for 5 years and still nothing. I just can't wait for this journey to be over and I'm holding my first baby/ies in my arms.

You mentioned you had been trying to conceive for 5+yrs. I had been trying since 2010 with no luck i went to my Dr who then referred me to a Fertility Specialist. Had my husbands sperm checked (low>average) and had my ovaries checked aswell (small cysts) was prescribed Provera & Clomid. Cycle #1 fell pregnant, miscarried at 11wks and cycle #6 fell pregnant and had my babygirl March this year.

It's unpredictable, uncertain and most definitely unfair why some woman fall pregnant, while others all around us seem to get 'knocked up' when a male blinks at them. It makes our walk along fertility even more challenging as you feel alone. Being on BnB has enabled me to realise woman all around the world go through infertility issues and that we can all do with a bit of encouragement and empathy.

I am here to encourage you that it is hard yes, but it is worth it, and you will get through it. Chin up, keep sharing from your heart, and we can do this thing called life together with a touch of sisterhood and love. Not sure if you'd be interested but i received plentiful, infact an abundance of love and support from these 2 links, the first link a lovely woman (a dear friend of mine) has been trying for 5+yrs aswell and is the most positive woman with great enlightment through her struggles, while the second link woman have been trying for 1+yrs and take the time to pray for eachother and regularly see how we are all doing.

I have had lots of tests done, I have pcos and low progesterone. Hubby has been tested and they are mostly fine some are a bit abnormal and some a little slow but otherwise he is all good. I put hubby on Menevit about 4 months ago so hopefully that helps a bit.

Your not wrong that it is unfair, but I do try to stay positive. This journey has been very hard but at the same time it has made my hubby and I stronger then ever as a couple. Without him I would be a wreck.
I have a support group on fb and they are absolutely amazing. It's a Christian group and we have biblical teachings on there also. Thank you for your encouragement

It's a certain type of robitussin that works, you can google online to find out the proper type - I think its called an expectorant (?)...if you take the wrong type it can dry up cm. I was taking it twice a day. I think you're supposed to take it for 5 days leading up to when you expect to o.

That's it - guaifenesin!! But I think it has to be the only medicinal ingredient. I've tried opks, but they seem to stress me out My doctor told me I'd likely o between 5-10 days after my last clomid pill. My last pill is cd7 and last cycle I o'd on cd16. My hubby was sick so we missed our bding chance last cycle!! ARGH!!! I'm really hoping I o around the same time this cycle. Currently, I'm cd5 and I'll be starting the robitussin around cd10.

I am on my second cycle of taking chlomid. 3rd pill today. First cycle I ovulated, didn't get pregnant but developed a cyst from the chlomid. Hoping that doesn't happen again!

Im so confused!

Ive been spotting or having a very light period for a few days now, a week before Im actually due. (the 30th is my estimated day to start AF)

I havent spotted at all in 6 months at least! I dont think its implantation bleeding because its bright red, and I would think that implantation wouldnt be this much? Although in the 3 days its been happening, I havent filled a pantyliner.

My problem is that Im supposed to take clomid days 3-7 of AF, and Im not sure when to start counting it. I guess I ll just wait for the real flow Why does this have to happen now? ugh

Also mildly crampy, irritable, and my boobs are huge, and achy. This is also the first time that OH has suggested I take a test, but Im almost certain this is early AF.

It is possible that it could be IB. I've heard that for some ladies it can be heavier and even appear like af. Maybe wait a couple days and then test. I think it can take several days for hcg level to show in a hpt after implantation. Sounds like it could be promising! GL and I hope this is your bfp!!!

Hi ladies. Can I join!! First cycle of clomid I had already O'd by my scan on day 10 and had a 21 day cycle! Now on the second round and "think " I'm just about to O anytime soon. Today is CD 17. First time I took 50 mg at about 8pm and suffered with blurred vision! Not too badly - felt like I had sleep in my eyes!! And hot flushes!! This time round taking right before bed so sleeping through any side effects!!! Xx

Hey ladies, hoping this is an active forum! Ttc for over two years, dh tested and good, me diagnosed with pcos, and missing my left tube due to large cyst. Currently on my second round of clomid. Last month had a positive opk on cd 12. First positive ever!! This month, Currently on cd 15 no positive opk yet. Took the clomid one day later than last month. Last month had no side effect and ovulation was very painful. This month lots of side effects and no pain, just ewcm today. Praying for that BFP soon!!
