Clomid question....I feel like this is useless

Hey friends! I have tried 50 and 100 mg on CD 5-9 with no ovulation either time that we know of. Now doctor wants to make me take 100 mg again but on CD 3-7. I feel like this is a waste. Maybe I'm just being negative. But I am completely anovulatory on my own, and it hasn't worked either time, so I can't help but feeling it's a waste of a cycle.

I definitely would not say it's a waste of time. Not saying it will work but clomid seems very much trial and error. Everybody acts differently to different days and different dosages. If your not ovulating at all and the next round, the doctor should put you up to 150mg and you never know. Good luck

It isn't useless, a higher dose is a good idea to see if that helps. I know it seems like a waste of time but trying out different things is normal at the beginning. Sometimes people need a higher dose.
If clomid isn't working see if they can try Femera or even injectables. Just because one doesn't work doesn't mean something else won't work.
