Thank you youngmamttc. I wasn't positive about whether it was positive (excuse the redundancy!) because part of the test line is darker than the other part. I'm guessing dark test lines are good around here! Pregnancy would be great, but I would take a positive OPK as well. Good luck with Clomid cycle #1!

Great news! My doctor's office called back and told me I ovulated!!! I am so excited! I screamed in his assistant's ear and everything. Since my RE didn't see response during my previous appointment, this was such a pleasant surprise! Still not sure why I didn't get a positive OPK in that window and am just now getting one, but maybe that's neither here nor there. And now the wait begins....

afm- nothing much going on. all bfn's so far (will test later this am) temps are pretty, as usual. Feeling really down. Like it's not going to happen and I might aswell stop now and quit putting myself through this every month. Ugh!

Sometimes when I tilt my head I think I see something, and other times not. So line eye in full force! The osom, when I back light it has a line in just the right spot, so I guess I will see what it does when it dries. Yesterday I could swear I saw something on the frer (I know I do this every month) so I took it apart. It dried with a very faint pink line, but I know that does not mean anything. hehe But enjoy the tests! lol

I found out this morning that my progesterone level was at 27, which my RE was very happy with. Does anyone know what a "strong ovulation" means? Does that mean that I have a strong chance of getting pregnant, releasing more than one egg, etc.?

Thanks Kai It could mean you o'd more than one, I think it mostly means it was a good egg, but not sure. That is a very nice number!

It Don't Matter How Dark The Test Line Is, As Long As The Test Line Is The Same Colour Or Darker Than The Control Line That Is Positive. But If You've Been Told You Ovulated Around The Time You Didn't Get A Positive OPK Then Maybe Your Egg Didn't Release & Retried To Re-Ovulate Again & Did Release At The Time Of Your Positive OPK & Fx'd What Ever Day You Ovulated That It Leads To Your BFP. OPK's Don't Work For Some Women Hun, When I Found Out I Didn't Ovulate, I Was Shocked As I Had Got A Positive OPK That Cycle & Felt My Normal Ovulation Pain's, Maybe My Egg Didn't Release Due To My PCO. But Maybe They Just Don't Work For You. What Did You Use The With FMU Or Held Afternoon Urine??? & Good Luck & Fx'd Hun. x X x

P.s As For Me... I Got Up This Morning And Totally Forgot About Calling My Gyn's Receptionist, But I Didn't Even Have To Ring Her Back Today, Because She Called Me This Morning... Iv Only Got Appointment For Tomorrow At 2:15pm. I'm Glad I Got It Before She's Goes On Leave Because I'm Not Sure If I Will Be Able To See After Gyn There, Why'll She's Away But I Will Ask Tomorrow Depending On What Our Next Steps Are. I Will Say I Feel A Lot More Relaxed Now. x X x

This is the first time during this almost year of TTCing that I had a confirmation of ovulating so I feel the added anxiety during this TWW. Is that how you feel each cycle during that time? How are you doing and do you have any updates, Jess?

Hi ladies! I have been gone for some time. I needed a break. I have really put ttc out of my mind for the past few months. I needed to do some thinking..of which Im still at a standstill on should I continue or not. I really want to give my dd a younger sibling, but also she is at that age where she is really getting involved in sports etc. argh! She will be in her 4th year of dance next fall and she started soccer this spring.(and LOVES IT) So....oh and our insurance just keeps getting crappier and crappier So maybe Im out. Im 39 now and feeling like maybe Im meant to be a mom to one bio and one step kiddo. The other part is I will need to go in and get some help if we do start ttc again. And Im having a hard time finding and OB in my town who is going to work with me. (haven't worked that hard at it..but there is one in my other ob's office I would like to see...but that is so WEIRD!) and I have never been to a male gyno or dr. before. Im so weirded out by that. Past suff, but I think Im beyond that. I hope. My hubby just shared that he used to dream of a van load of kids. That was a first. I told him Im so sorry my body is broken He doesn't blame me, dont get me wrong. He knows my issues and stands by me. I think Im ready to give this one more go though. I need to go see my dr. about getting back on met. (ick) and then go from there. I need to lose at least 30-50lbs too...ugh! So hard when you are pcos and crave sugar! Boo!!!! Thanks for listening to me rant. Clomid may be in my future once again. May ask for higher dose?? was on 50mg before..is that advised or no? BTW Congrats to those who have gotten BFP's recently!! Very exciting!!

Welcome back Nmich! I know how you feel about wanting to give up! I just turned 37 and we only have a few months left. And I also am coming up on a due date in June All I can say is, if your ready just jump in with both feet! Hope you can find a dr who you like soon!

Your Welcome & lol Don't Worry I Would Have Though FMU Too If I Didn't Read The Leaflet, But I Did Use FMU And Got Best Result's then Although I Didn't Have A Problem With Them In The Afternoon/Evening Either, My Problem Then Was Holding The Wee For 3/4 Hour's ( Sometimes Longer ) & Not Being Able To Drink Any Water/Tea Or Anything. So For You It Might Work Great With Afternoon Urine As It All Depends On When You Ovulate To, Meaning Either Morning, Day Time, Night Time. I Ovulate Most Of the Time Late, Around 11-12pm Sometimes A Little Earlier But Not Much So I Get Best Result's With FMU As Egg Is Released By Then (When I Do Ovulate) & When I Ovulate In The Morning Which Is Once In A Blue Moon, I Get Better +OPK Result's In The Evening, But Only If I Hold My Wee For At Least 3-4 Hours With No Drink What so Ever. Otherwise There Useless To Me. Totally Understand Why You Feel Like That, After Over 18month's TTC, I Did Get A Blood Result Saying I Ovulated & Felt The Same Anxious,
Relieved & Excited, I Would Say. Now I'm Just Kinder Hoping And Praying. I Doing Ok Hun & Update At The Bottom Of This Post. Good Luck Hun & Fx'd x X x

Sadly I Was Unable To Attend My Appointment Today Due To 2 Men That Killed & Tried To Behead A Soldier Yesterday Afternoon, Roads Are Blocked & Cant Get To My Clinic, Also Would Rather Not Have My Daughter Around There ATM Either. It's Sad & I Feel For His Family & Loved One's. x X x

So I Rebooked My Appointment & Have To Wait Until 11th June & With A Different Gyn As Mine Will Still Be Away & I'm Not Waiting Another Couple Of Weeks After This One, So Asked If I Could See Another Gyn & Got The 11th. Although I'm Gutted I Didn't Get To Go Today, But I'm Not Angry As A Man Lost His Life Yesterday. x X x

Hi NMich! I completely understand where you're coming from. So sorry that you're in a rough spot. I have a male RE, and I actually like him a lot. I felt the same way as you as far as having a male look at my lady bits. But I think with male doctors who specialize in women's reproductive systems, they've seen a million of *ahems* so it doesn't feel awkward at all. I prefer him to my female OB/GYN.
100mg of Clomid has worked well for me this cycle. This was my first round of Clomid and it was successful. Hang in there and look forward to seeing you on here.

Jess, holding pee is dreadful! Sometimes, i have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night forgetting that I want to test with FMU. It is a delicate dance. I just heard about the attacks yesterday. I am so very sorry. What is this world coming to? I guess that is a different story for a different forum. I don't blame you for not wanting to wait any longer than you have to. I wouldn't either. You don't want to miss any opportunities, and for us ladies especially, time is not something to be taken for granted. I hope June 11th comes quickly for you!
