afm- my temping has been a little crazy lately. Normally I temp at 5am, then go back to sleep. My dh was off of work for 4 days and got up on his own for a day before that so I didn't temp until 6am or a little later. So yesterday was the first time in awhile that I temped at my normal time, so I decided to adjust it. I can always put it back later, but at least I have my ch's hehe

Everything over here going pretty good. Almost at 7 months an I haven't gotten any cravings. Which amazes me because I see some women say they have cravings at 5 wks. But I did notice my hubby has some cravings from time to time. He is even the one putting on weight. Lol so I guess I shouldn't complain much. Haha

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to drop by and say I have been lurking and crossing my fingers for all of you. I wish I could all give you your BFP's as you all deserve them for the dedication, stress and the highs and lows you all go through. I love how you can all be there to support each other and were there for me when I needed it too.
Well my pregnancy was a very hard one, after all the fertility treatments I ended up with gestational diabetes and obstetric cholestasis which is a build up of bile acids in your liver causing you to itch all over especially at night. Due to these issues and being on 13 tablets a day and 2 insulin injections they decided my bile acids were still rising to high and decided to induce me at 34 weeks. The cholestasis can cause the baby to have a heart attack and die if left to go full term so please if any of you have itching go get a blood test. I had to have 2 epidurals as the first one didn't work lol just my luck but after 11 hours 47 mins Amira was born a healthy 3kgs or 6lb 7oz, she spent 2 weeks in the special care nursery until she could feed and has been home for 4 weeks now.

Just wanted to give you all the best wishes in the world and pray that you all get that dream of a baby, please don't give up, I know it's hard but take a break from all the monitoring of temps etc if you need too and hopefully it will happen for you. xxx

Yay belinda!!!!! She is absolutely gorgeous - congrats. Even with all the trouble you went through, I am sure she was worth it and much more xo I hope she is sleeping well for you

Thanks Shelley, Yea she was worth it although towards the end it was getting hard to cope with not sleeping at night because of the itch and not sleeping during the day to catch up because I had to eat and test blood sugars every few hours. She sleeps really well about 3 hours between feeds and if I need sleep I feed her and hubby gives her my milk in a bottle so I can get 6 hours. It was good to have her in the special care nursery in a way as she got put in a routine and got used to noises so we don't have to tip-toe around the place.

Good morning ladies its has become a little slow here. Hope everyone is doing great

Had an appt on thursday an my doctor confirmed she is pregnant an is due a few weeks before me. I was kind of bummed because I really like her an want her to deliver me. But now I know thats not going to happen. She offered me a choice of seeing another one of her partners or midwife. I'm going to stuck with her until she goes on leave then going to see a midwife. I want to try to do this naturally without an epidural. She said midwife would be a good idea then. We wil be going over my birth plan on friday when I see her again. I know I don't know what labor will feel like but I'm going to try everything to try an do this naturally. Been told by some friends an relatives that its going to be impossible to do without an epidural. So maybe I can prove them wrong maybe not but I'm going to try.

Hey Alex. Sorry that your doctor is leaving for her own maternity leave.

When I had Madison my OB was in the hospital for a kidney infection so I didn't even have a chance of having her deliver. But it wasn't bad.

Went to the doctor Friday for a check up and BP was high. They took it four times and never told me what it was. But after Four vials of blood, two urine tests, and a non stress test they ruled out preeclampsia. I was ordered to bed rest this weekend and I have to go back tomorrow for a repeat blood pressure test.

Hoping I get to be induced soon!

That's good it wasn't preeclampsia Crystal. Hopefully your bp will be normal when you go again tomorrow. Your almost at the end , can't wait to here when Mackenzie gets here. Full term so she should be here anytime now. Did you do lots of walking in the early stages up until now?

Sorry to hear about your Dr Alex. I know how hard that is. I picked my Dr because I didn't want a midwife. I wasn't due for another couple of weeks and my Dr went on vacation, the next day I went into labor...a midwife delivered me! Lol

Thanks ladies. Went to Walmart to pick something up and checked my BP at one of those machines. It was 137/94.
