Closer to nature slow flow teats and how many ounces???

Im not sure what to do, when Aleesha feeds its like she sucks too hard on the bottle (you can hear and feel her suck hard on it (you know what I mean???)

Not sure whether I should be changing teats yet???

Shes 4 and a half weeks and a very hungry baby! On the SMA can it says 120mls/4oz so I make it up to 150/5oz so she can get the full feed. Then I can give her a little extra sometimes, usually I do lol

do you think this sounds ok?
What do you do??

we changed teats at about 3 weeks!
we were also using closer to nature slow flo and Willow would just make this weird sucking noise trying to get more out!

We tried Vari flo but she ended up with half of it down her neck so were now using number 2 teats for 3month + and they are great!!

we give willow 120ml and sometimes give more.

Im waiting on Matthew waking up to try out the size 2 teats! lol was having similar problems and he was taking ages and seemed to be guzzling it down and sucking really hard but had maybe only drank an oz or two!

Size two teats are working a treat so far 10mins and he's drank 4oz and seems to be a lot more settled! And he hasnt spilled any of it or had the teats collapsing!

I would move up to med flow teats x

We had the slow flow teats and the midwife told me when Tom was 5 days old to switch to variflow or size 2s as he was only drinking 1 to 2oz. It made an instant difference - he's 12 days now and with the variflows he will now drink up to 3 or 4oz. I find he tends to guzzle on the size 2s and then brings lots back.

I'd definately try the faster flow teats if she's finding the size 1s hard work.

well i had some med flow teats, used them and she made a bit of a mess lol, but she wasnt sick, gonna buy some vari flos today x

im now using the variflow teats theyre working great for matthew!size two's he was throwing the bottles back up as he was getting the milk too quickly
