Basically, I'm thinking about using cloth diapers for my second baby (never even thought about it with my first :dohh: ) but I don't really know anything about them or cloth diapering in general. So I could really use any information anyone can give me. Here's some ideas for what I mean...

*Starting costs
*Ease of using them
*Best kinds
*Manageable with a baby and toddler?

*Anything else you can possibly think of!

Starting costs....It really depends on what you are going with. For a newborn I would personally have the bulk of my stash prefolds because you change them so much and they grow so quickly you will be having to replace soon and prefolds are the cheapest option. But I would also have a few fitteds and pockets for going out and nighttime. So I would say for your newborn stash $150 or less?
*Ease of using them...I think they are really easy. Prefolds take some practice, I don't like to just trifold them and put them in the cover I actually fold them on and snappi them then put a cover on them. But fitteds, pockets and all in ones are really easy to use, no harder than a disposable
*Best kinds....depends on their age really, I like prefolds for newborn-infants with pockets too, fitteds are my favorite for babies-toddlers and pockets then too
*Manageable with a baby and toddler?....Def, I have a 6yr old, 4yr old and 22mo old and we have used them since the baby was 2mo
