Just curious what everyone elses babies are like in the evening... seems Jasmine just wants to eat in the evening tonight...

Im hoping she doesnt want to keep eating like this all night lol...

Bren used to camp out on the boob. He would nurse for hours in the evening. They do grow out of it. Thank goodness!!!

Hannah almost always eats more in the evenings than at any other time of day, but she slept fine at night (until the teething started and she caught this damn cold :()

thats good to know... i would die if I had to get up every hour to feed her lol...

every 1hr and 30 mins Cubz is on the boob the one night I fell asleep with her on it and we both woke up in a puddle of milk lol the good times...:hugs:

Lexi feeds alot more in the evening aswell! its not so bad during the night if their in the same room as you!

Oliver cluster feeds for the whole evening - but then he proceeds to sleep straight through the night. So i'm certainly not complaining!!!

I think the whole day is one big cluster for our Poppy :dohh:

between 5 pm and 7pm jessica is having milk practically non stop. then she sleeps through till 8am

Max dosent get up anymore to feed but for his darn dummy lol at least 10 times per night ..

The first time that happened I blamed jasper, I thought he'd leaked his nappy or something (which he does do sometimes) but yeah, any time I fall asleep feeding on the side he ends up getting soaked by the boobie! oopsie!

I'm also glad that others have experienced this, because Jasper does the same in the evening, he wants the boob almost continually if he's awake in the evening - and these evenings he generally sleeps 3-4 hours at the start of the night (which is fabulous compared to just 2 hours at a time!!!) so, i dont mind, its just I was worried it was not normal or a bad habit.

I'm glad we're not alone! Byron wants to feed constantly from about 10pm until 3am then he sleep right through until mid morning, we usually have to wake him! The first half of the night it's a constant battle between changing, feeding, changing, feeding again, trying to put him down, him waking up half an hour later at most, changing, feeding.... We're going to try and push the clock back a bit, waking him more earlier in the evening to see if we can work towards him having his big sleep from midnight to 6am instead. Every day is so different from the one before!

katie feeds from about 8 till 11 in the evenings. but the past few days its been a constant feed!! peanutbean - she used to be the same, feeding til really late and she's naturally started to move backwards and the past couple of nights has slept from 11ish till 6 or 7, which is a big improvement!!

I thought it was because a baby knows your milk is better in the evening, least thats what my health visitor tells me  Tabs feeds pretty much all the time from 7-11 then throws it all back up and feeds till 12 then falls asleep

Here's hoping it'll come naturally then. Our efforts yesterday seem to have pushed him forward to 6am instead of 3/4am!

same here Alfie has been feeding non stop on an evening and night, i really hope it evens out!!!!

How the heck do all you guys gt your babies to sllep through the night??? Kat?? Alice&bump???

katie used to sleep all the time in the day, so we started making sure she was awake every so often and then at about 8 or 9 we would wake her up in the evening and keep her up. she soon got into the routine of waking up at about 8 and wanting to be fed. its a bit hit and miss cos sometimes she sleeps all day, has tobe woken for feeds etc and then sleeps thru and other times she's awake all day and dead late into the night.

the past week or so she's been feeding constantly, think she's been having a growth spurt (she's outgrown her 0-3months clothes length wise!) but yesterday she woke u every 4 hours for a feed. she sicked up her night time feed and it was about 1 when she got to sleep in the end, but still not too bad!!
