Do u girls still have it or avoid it like mad?

I have cut down on caffiene intake & only have 1 cup of tea a day & rarely I'll have some diet coke- I do love it.
DH is always telling me off though, but i really fancy some now, shall I have it? Is it ok sometimes?

i have coke when i fancy it. Which isn't all that often. I'm not a fan of fizzy drinks, it makes me pee a lot!

lol

Im not fussed, Ive started drinking caffine free tea and coffee now though coz Ive been craving tea and coffee like mad.

I think its ok in moderation :)

i dont do tea/coffee and ive gone off fizzy drinks, but then i didnt drink fizzy drinks in the first place

I drink decaf coffee occasionally, tea most of the day and coke/pepsi when I feel like it. At the end of the day the way I see it if we stopped everything they told us to we wouldn't do or eat anything.

People have got on fine having kids without all these restrictions before so as long as your careful then have what you like!!

I drink a soda occassionaly when I feel like it. I don't think there's anything wrong with having one once in a while.

I dont drink tea+coffee at all but I do treat myself to regular coke once in a while. No diet drinks though because it contains Aspartame that has been linked to brain and nervous system damage in unborn babies. Dont know if it is true though because these 'scientist' come up with new reasons every day to take away all the good stuff. My one bad habit has to be chocolate. I just cannot give it up.

I have a fizzy drink everyday, used to drink a lot more then i do now so have cut down, i have the odd cup off weak coffee and tea throughout the day too.

I can't cut every thing out of my diet!

I have never been a soda person. If I do, I go for sprite. I am not a coffee drinker either, but will have an occasional cup of tea. I cut out caffeine years and years ago. I am big on water since I have had past kidney and bladder problems.

I was put on Coca Cola Diet at 12 weeks (recommended by midwife and consultant) as I couldnt keep anything down due to really bad morning sickness. I was on a small bottle per day now on one per week. Was told not to have Diet Coca Cola as there was something in it which you cant have when pregnant (not sure what it was).

When I asked the midwife about the effects it would have on baby, she said, if you take large amounts it may affect baby so they recommend if possible you avoid it during pregnancy all together.

If you are really worried about having it ask your midwife.

I have coke once in a while not really into fizzy drinks perfer diluted. I have 1 cup of tea every morning at work not on weekends dont fancy it will have hot choc on weekends.

Think its fine in moderation x

I Drink Tea All Day Long And Diet Coke When I Feel Like It To. The Only Thing I Advois Now Compared To Pre-pregnancy Is Red Bull

Xx

I use to drink so much coke before i was pregnant. But now i have cut down on my caffeine i only have the odd glass when i feel like it.

dont like coke any way but i think its fine in moderation xxx

i drink coke not so much now but i drink it when ever i want it, so if you want some have it go 4 it

I'm a really bad tea tank lol, I can't get enough of the stuff

I didn't have coke in the earlier months of my pregnancy but the past couple of weeks I've just thought fuck it, at least I'm not smoking or drinking alcohol, a little bit of fizz isn't goin to do that much harm

Before I became pregnant I loved sprite and use to drink it all the time. Once I feel pregnant I went off sprite, it just didn't taste the same and so I started wanting coke. I buy caffine free coke, I also like fanta

i'm not a fizzy drinks person. i stop drinking all fizzy drinks few years ago. i only use coke to clean my silver jewelry ( it's quite strong ) and it used to make me burp a lot and gave me a tummy ache.
PS: soak your silver jewelry in coke or pepsi for 15 min. and clean with a cloth , it will come out as new

I still have it if I feel like it. I tried to cut down on tea and coffee in the first few weeks but it didn't last long. Not even till I was 12 weeks. I have about the maximum amount of caffine thats recommended, if not more but for the last few weeks I've really started to go off it and maybe only have 1 cup of coffee a day. The rest of the time I have decaf tea or fruit juice.
