I used to make the bottles as I went on but I've started using colief and I can't be doing with waiting half an hour for the drops to work their magic while my boy is screaming for food so Ive started making them up in advance, for the night anyway.

On the colief it says to use the bottles in 12 hours but I know people who still make up bottles in advance to keep in the fridge use them within the 24 hour mark, 12 hours can be bit of a pain as I find myself making them at like 1am just to be sure they'll last until the next afternoon around 1pm (me and baby are late risers!) so my question is, if you use colief and make the bottles in advance do you make sure they're used within 12 hours or 24 hours? And have you had any problems if you keep them for 24 hours?

Thanks!

What I used to do was make 2 bottles at night, let them cool and then add the Colief and put in the fridge. These were then my 2 morning bottles (7am and 10am) that I used. Then at 10am, I did the same with the other 3 for the day (next feed wasn't usually until 2pm so gave me the 4 hour window). It then covers the 4 hours you need to wait before giving it to them.

I would follow it exactly how they say. I almost used it for kacey but couldnt find a way to make it work. I no a few people whos LO had quite bad tummys and i think it was due to not making it correctly

I do it as MrsVenn does :)

2 made on a night at 10:30pm does the 2 morning feeds (7am & 10am)

Then 3 made on a morning at about 7:30 does me until his bedtime feed at 7pm :)
xx
