Colouring / using markers or crayons

We have got our LO some crayons and markers to go in his stocking for Christmas, I don't see him being ready to try it before then. Even then we will give it a go, but I'm not expecting him to take much interest until around next Easter.

Ivy had her first drawing session today! She loved it, I bought some 12m+ felt tip pens and she was pressing the pen down making lots of dots and then trying to press them, Ii think she thought they were button :dohh:

I just bought my lo some crayons for her birthday but have put them away for a while as she just tries to eat them at the mo! Might get her an aquadoodle for Xmas as have heard they are good

We gave Jessica crayons in Nandos about 4 weeks ago but she just wanted to eat them....so Ive now bought chunkier ones and put her in her highchair and she is getting the hang of it now. I show her what to do, and she is getting better, I`ll just keep trying. Shes also got a little board and pen which she is getting quite good at.

We`ve bought her an aquadoodle for xmas too which Im hoping she will be ready for at 18 months

Sam got really into crayons when he turned 2 although he had them before that but wasn't that interested. He mostly prefers to watch me draw though!

About 16 months we first got him some crayons, he wasnt really bothered about them until these last couple of months but i wouldnt call what he does drawing its more just random squiggling lol
