not at all, there are loads of different accents over here. She is very well spoken though x

I have a very similar accent to her. I was schooled in state school and never had a whiff of elocution about me. What do you mean by thick though; posh, or common sounding? Not many people speak like the Queen

She has a typical accent of someone who has had elocution lessons/ berkshire accent. Where she went to school there is a massive divide of accent, people either speak like her or more somerset (ie. russel howard's accent)

She has the same accent as my sister who goes to boarding school a few miles from marlborough college.
