I got my renewal pack last week and im so confused.i was on maternity leave from july last year until april this year, i thought all i would have to do was to write down my total income which was on my p60 but it mentions deducting money as i was on ml. How do i do this? I tried googling it and if i got over £100 per wk i should deduct 100 frm my total??? My total income is lower for last year than it was for the year before which you can see on my p60 so i assumed it had already been deducted:shrug:

You're better off ringing them up so you can tell them you were on maternity leave, all you do is tell them what your P60 is, but then say how many weeks you were on maternity leave for during 2013-2014 and they will multiply that by £100 and reduce it from your income, so for example I was on maternity leave for 23 weeks last financial year so I rang up, gave them my income earned off my payslip and they took off £2300. It's better to do it on the phone I feel so they know why you're giving an income lower than what your P60 states.

Thanks i may try and get through tomorrow. If i phone does that mean i wont have to fill form in as well?

Yeah no form, I never do it by form I find it easier just to ring every year :)

you take whats on your p60 and deduct £100 per week you were on leave. This is what I did, and they told me to do. I got say £10540 i was off for 39 weeks, so I took off £3900 from that.
