Hi, well I had my lap and dye done yesturday - feeling a lot better this evening but really sore as AF arrived this morning.
The surgeon came to see me a couple of hours after my op and showed me 4 photos they had taken of my insides. He pointed out an enlarged area of my right fallopian tube, the enlarged area was close to my uterus and he told me that on seeing this they thought there was a blockage in that tube - however he told me that the dye test was successful and the tube was not blocked. When I asked him what he thought it was - he told me he was not sure and maybe it was just an abnormality and I will hear from the FS by phone or letter to arrange a follow up appointment to discuss the next steps once he has written a full report of the findings.
So now I'm really confused - its great that my tubes are not blocked but I'm really worried about this enlarged area on my tube - I have been told I can contact the fertility nurse in 7 days for more details prior to my next FS appointment.
Has anyone had any experience of this? X
