All this 'dream feeding' and 'top up feeds' are really confusing me i dont understand!!
I just feed Harry when hes hungry....????

Harry feeds every 2 hours until 10pm then he will have a good feed and go until 2am, then have another at 5am, and then its back to every 2 hours!!

Should i be topping up or dream feeding somewhere in that time????
I dont even really understand what topping up is and i dont see how to feed a sleeping baby....

im soooo confused please help ladies!!! :help:

What you're doing sounds perfect :D ...I've always just fed Sam when he wants feeding and haven't given him any top-ups. Some people find that dream feeding at around the time that they would be due a feed anyway makes it easier to put them back down to sleep for another few hours, but if you're happy doing things as you are there's no reason to change :D x

completely agree! Your doing fine :hugs:

Don't worry, you're doing everthing right! With our LO, she doesn't really go down till about half 9/10 so I give her a b/f around then and she sleeps till 1.30. If she wasn't awake at 10 I wouldn't try and dreamfeed her though.

My hub gives her a expressed bottle in the night with about 80mls of milk (and I then feed her straight after) but that is because my h/v told me that babies should be given a bottle every day so that they are used to having one (but no one else seems to have been give this advice!!)

You just stick to what works for you :hugs:
xx

I think you're on track honey - if is aint broke, dont fix it!! :)
