Contractions starting how far apart?

Mine started off at 2-3 mins apart, I was able to shower dry and straighten my hair through them! When my waters broke the lasten longer and were more intense,it was only then we headed to the hospital! Got to the hospital and was found to 8cm. Went from 8cm to ready to start pushing in 5 mins. 35mins after arriving at hospital our baby Zack was born

Ha ha! I love that you washed, dried and straightened your hair to look presentable for labour! Don't think I even brushed my hair for about three days!

My contractions kicked in suddenly. Around 2 mins apart straight away and lasting about 20 seconds. I could talk through them and coped at home in bath for about 8 hours before heading to hosp in an ambulance when waters went and I wanted to push! LO arrived an hour later.

well i was in asda and they were coming and going pretty irregular allt he way home i called at my grandads fixed his internet whent home they were regular about 10 mins apart and getting more intense so i got some paracetamol and stood in hot shower for about 20 mins by the time i got out tried to eat summat but i couldnt cos pain was too bad think i had like i piece of bread or summat lol so OH took me to hospital when i got there they were still bout 10 mins apart so they run me a bath cos was only 2cm dialated and didnt have bath at home they let me stay cos they said summat about im deffo in labour although i havent dialated much sooo anyhow they were pretty much there all the time by the time i go out of bath

so at about 4pm they were irregular
5:30pm they were regular bout 10 mins apart
6pm hurting bad
6:30-7pm i whent to hospt
8pm they were there pretty much al the time
baby was bor at 3am

with my first baby god i was in slow labour getting mega mega painfull contractions irregular for about 3 days and not dialating was baaaad

oh and my water never broke either times mw broke them both times at 8cm

Thank u ladies! I'm scared Il leave it too late as mws were telling me I wasnt in labour with dd n when I finally begged them to examine me I was ready to push n I don't want this baby at home! Haha!

Iv had ridiculous amount of BH too which do get painful n I was in being monitored last week as contractions started n got to every 5 mins but I wasn't dilating so went home on Sunday night n they stopped on the Tuesday! So I keep thinkin oh is this them or is it Bh! X

Mine started instantly like someone flicked my labour switch to on! 30 seconds 2.5 mins apart from the off and bloomin painful..

Sweep at 9.30am and immediately start contracting every 10 mins but not too painful.

My contractions were every 5 mins from 3pm. Got rather painful then but bearable.

About 5pm they were still every 5 mins but more painful so i asked mum to take DS1. Phoned OH at 5.30 to come home and take me to hospital. Contractions were horrendus by that point.

5.55pm got the urge to push and DS2 born at 6.16pm. Didn't even make it out of the house lol
