Corpus luteum cyst or ectopic pain?

What a week it has been

Monday at 5wks: I Went to ER with bad cramping on right side. When I got there, I started to bleed a little but only when I wiped once. I have never spotted/bled again.
They couldn't see anything on vaginal ultrasound. they Said it was possibly too early.
HCG Level was 438.

Tuesday :No cramping/or spotting.

Wed.: I Went to get HCG testing again, at about 40hrs since the last test.
HCG Level: 653
Painful cramping on right side all day and took tylenol to help with the pain.

Today: I Couldn't sleep all night due to pain. Pain is in my lower back and my stomach muscles feel very sore. Still having a dull cramp on my right side-not nearly as bad as before. I also feel like i have trapped gas pains.

I have no clue what is going on. I am supposed to go back on friday to get HCG tested again.

With DS, I did have right side cramping, which did turn out to be the corpus luteum cyst, but I don't remember the cramps being nearly as bad....maybe they were though

Any thoughts? I hope and pray our lil baby is fine.
If it is ectopic., i don't know if i would have felt the pain so early, so I am hoping for that fact maybe it is the cyst.

Sorry I don't really have an answer. Your hcg levels did go up which is good. I'm surprised they didn't have you wait 3 days in between blood draws so they could check your doubling time. It sounds like you are stuck waiting out blood work, which is exactly where I am. I'll be praying for the both of us for good news.

I am 4 weeks and 5 days, and I have also had the right side cramping and have been having blood-work every 2 -3 days (yesterday's was 124), and because of me "persistence"...yeah we'll call it that lol my doctor sent me for a transvag u/s. I do have a small cyst on my right ovary and nothing else so far lol, but the doctor did assure me that an ectopic would show up as an obstruction in the fallopian tube even this early. She said to relax and follow up scan in 2 weeks and continue blood-work

Sorry you are going through this, I have had two ectopics and both times they scanned me and there was no pregnancy but they could not see a obstruction at all as well, after two weeks of blood's and still not been able to see a thing in the scans I was rushed into surgery where they found both times were about to burst (scans don't always allow them to see what they need to) my last pregnancy I did have a lot of really bad right side pain and it ended up been nothing and I hope this is the same for you.x

Hey Hun I was misdiagnosed with an ectopic at 5+4 I think. They couldn't see anything in my uterus either and my beta was way over 3000! It's way too small to tell just now, I had the pains and spotting and it was caused by a corpus luteal cyst which also happens to be hemmorahgic, hence the misdiagnosis, fortunately my hcg doubled over 48 hrs! And at the last minute I was pulled out of surgery by a sonographer who knew based on bloods a big mistake had been made! In the nick of time too, Keep strong Hun miracles do happen, don't agree to anything unless you are absolutely 100% sure xxx

Hi ladies. My HCG level ended up dropping today. Doctor says its an impending miscarriage

I was ntnp #2 when we conceived and having this experience makes me really want another addition to our family. I will be trying again as soon as I am able.
