cotbed bedding..

2 questions lol
1.iv seen lots of cotbed sets and it says not to use the quilt cover until 6 months..is that when u will be using yours?
2.i got my bedding from matalan..its the cream winnie the pooh one.i got the bumper,sheets,fleece blanket and mobile but i cant find the quilt anywhere anymore..iv searched the website and stil cant see it but i know they use to do it a few months back..
can anyone find it online 4 me please?iv been looking coz i want the cotbed to be all set up by next week and i feel like the main part is misin xx

see how she goes and when she starts moving and rolling over and stuff - every baby is different.. but hopefully for the first few months she'll be in her moses basket, and once they start moving their arms and rolling and stuff they're okay to be under a quilt cause they can move it..

sounds really silly but have you tried ebay - and post something in the buy/wanted/swap/sell part, someone might have one on here, just sitting at home? and not thinkiing to put it up - but then if they do they will let you know! hope you find itt!!

Yea just play it by ear with the quilt, its not recommended before 6 months in case they wriggle under and cant lift the quit of their own head. Sheets are recommended before 6 months and tuck them into the mattress then but bubs's feet to the foot of the cot, so they dont have far to wriggle!

As for the quilt, I also recommend e-bay xx

I got my set from mothercare, and it had a quilt but also something else I can't remember what it was called but it was to be used before the quilt it's soooo lush I prefer it to the quilt

you have plenty of time to find it though... Try e-mailing matalan? They may have it in stock still in another store and get it sent over for you? hope something comes up

I am planning on using blankets for the first few months and then the actual cover later when she is a little more mobile. It will also be colder then so I think she will need it.

i did try ebay but cant seem to find it thier either..there isnt much rush to get it just it would look so much better for when i put my cotbed up to have the complete set..
i think il email matalan n just keep cheaking and hopefully something comes up

if u go on to the matalan website and search cot bedding on page number 2 itl come up with disney fleece cot blanket..thats part of the set and the same themed quilt that im looking for..if u get what i mean :S lol x

If you mean a duvet they shouldn't be used until LO is over a year old, DD has only recentl started using a pillow and duvet

yeh its like a duvet but i just wanna have it now so when i make the cotbed up it looks good lol
and i dont wanna wait and they stop selling it then i havnt got the whole set
