I've just bought some newborn prefolds on Ebay by Cotton Bottoms. I've never used prefolds before so have a few questions!
1) Do they need a nappy nippa? There is nothing about using one on the instructions and there wasn't one in the pack. Do they just fold and stay in shape underneath the wrap?
2) Do I really need to soak them for two hours before washing? I just chucked all of DS1's nappies in the wash and it worked fine. If I do, must it be in the Nappy Bright solution they mention, or will water/something else do?
3) There were two rolls of paper stuff in the kit. It's very thin and feels like the stuff they put on hospital beds before you lie on it for an examination. What is this? I thought it might be liners but there is a pack of liners too, and it feels quite rough for next to newborn skin.
