Could saliva be the reason for me for not getting pregnant ?

Hi all. We are NTNP for baby # 1 since January this year. DH uses saliva as a lube sometimes before BD when I am not wet. Is this act of us preventing pregnancy ??? And is oral a no no when trying for a baby ? Answers welcome. Help me out ladies by replying, so that I can make some changes in our routine to get that

I doubt it, really. Plenty of kids and drunks get pregnant and I'm SURE that's what they use!
Plus, I'm sure it's been the go-to problem solver for eons. Cave men probably spit on theirs too

I am good. Currently on cd9. How about u ? Are you doing any opk this month ?
I know its feel a bit sad when we see others around us getting pregnant when we are not. My friends are announcing their bfp's on FB.

We are on same cd then.
I think I should get some opk then.
Whats your plan for this cycle ? EOD and then 2days of +opk ? What brand opk u use ?

yes starting on cd 11 we will bd on day 11.13.14.15 and probably a couple extra

I am thinking something similar. Thinking to BD on cd10/11,13,14,15/16
I normally ovulate on cd15. Sometimes on cd14.
I may or mayn't use opk. But tempted to.

Just for now trying to avoid saliva as a lube. Investing more time in foreplay to get natural cm. Its working well.

Hiya, I'd say lube would be a no no, but both pregnancies started with a helping hand from saliva so it didn't affect us. But if you're concerned, you could use preseed as that's supposed to help x

Use a sperm-friendly lubricant like Pre-Seed. It most closely matches your natural lubricant and helps the sperm move along like it is supposed to.
