I found that my LO was dead on 25th May, and started bleeding on 29th May. My bleeding has stopped today, and I am feeling an ache on my left side which feels just like i get shortly before OV. It's only one week since I started bleeding. Could i possibly be OV already? I can't test as I'm staying at my Mum and Dad's for a few more days, and my sticks are at home. Also stressing as OH is at home and i don't want to miss this chance to TTC, and I won't be home till Saturday night. Having said all this I don't have any CM, and usually that is very prominant before OV.
Did anyone OV this soon after a MC, or is my body just doing weird stuff? Did anyone get any aches and pains like this that wasn't due to OV?

Really sorry to hear of you loss... still cant get over ho many of us this is happening to...

I am not sure if it would be OV as i bled on and off for ages like it would stop for 3/4 days then I got a pain and would start bleeding again...not sure if you have to wait until you have one clear period before starting again...thinkthats the advice people have been giving? I suppose its about how you feel in yourself more than anything...

Sorry not much help didnt want to read and run

I am so sorry for your loss hun........ I too started bleeding brown/old blood on the evening of 27/05. On 29/05 I was passing clots and there was some fresh blood mixed with the old blood. I had a complete miscarriage confirmed that afternoon after blood test, an ultrasound and an internal scan. I have stopped bleeding today no spotting and, the only pain I got was on the 29/05 when I was trying to go to sleep and it felt like the bad AF pains I get sometimes. I heated a beanbag thingey in the microwave put it on my belly and, when I woke the next morning no pain. I have just read Woobles Causes and Myths thread and found it really informative and reassuring. I would recommend you read it as, it says in there quite a way down that your cycles length changes and to expect your 1st AF anywhere from 4-7wks after the mc and, that this will not be anything like an AF you have had on the past. i also got pregnant after the 1st mth of TTC I am hoping to do so again after my 1st AF has arrived but, i am not going to hold my breath as, my bestfriend took 4mths after her mc to get pregnant again. The only thing I keep saying to myself is that I did it once I can do it again and, so can you. Our bodies just need a little time to adjust wheather we want them to or not. Sorry for the long post and rambling but, I hope this has helped abit. :hugs::hugs::hug::hugs:

I too have had what feels like ovulation pains for the last couple of days but i started bleeding with MC on the 21st of May. so it would be the right time for me assuming that i am going to have a 28 day cycle length this first month.
I think the truth is anything can happen in this first month, sometimes women will ovulate early, sometimes late and sometimes not at all. Our bodies need time to re-adjust our hormones after pregnancy, no matter how short it was.
Sorry i can't give you a definitive answer.
Take Care hun

Hi I m/c on the 8th of May after 2 weeks of bleeding I was sure I ov'd straight away because of my cm, however this is now 2 weeks later and there is no sign of my AF and no symptoms. This morning I noticed that I am now Ov'ing because of my cm which is 29 days after my m/c. I have considered whether I should make the most of this. However I am going to listen to all the medical advice and wait for my first AF and for my body to resume it's natural cycle and to give myself more time too. Next month however I'll def TTC. I think it can take a while for the body to adjust after a m/c and unfortunately it's different for every woman.

Good luck with whatever you decide and hope you're doing ok.

Thanks for all your advice and support. The pains have gone again today. I think my ovaries are just very confused and who can blame them??!!
I'm just feeling so relieved today that the bleeding really has stopped. Have found that I've only cried twice today, which is also a big improvement.
Hugs to you all, and thinking of you.
