Council tomorrow..

Going to the council tomorrow, i've been told i'l need to take some proof of my pregnancy, which someone else has said would be my MatB1 form or something. I dont have that, and i dont see my MW til next week.

Do you reckon i'll really need it, when i have a very obvious bump, and my hospital notes/scan pictures?

you will def need it. Its not that they need to see your bump. It will have official dates etc that you are due etc that midwife etc stamp etc etc etc

Its all bloody stupid.

If your council is anything like ours then they won't allocate you points for your child until its born.

They do here After 29 weeks you're eligible for a bedroom for the baby. Or thats what the woman at housing advice told me anyway

yeah my councli didnt care when i was preg or after when zane was born wen i needed help. but for now i think ur green notes will do for now. thats all u have so stuff them lol

my daughter is nearly 7 month old and dont have my matb1 maternity certificate. my council were quite happy to accept my handheld notes as long as they had my current address on them they jst took a photocopy of the front page x

you could try just using your notes that all they had off me

you will need your matb1 but should be able to take in at later date just dont think they will asses your claim before they recieve it..
