My belly looks round now.

My doctors appointment is Friday hopefully she put in the order for my ultrasound cause i really want to see the baby
 
My ms has almost completely tapered off. I'm trying not to worry because it went away around now with my son, too. My nipples are still SO tender and I'm still getting bloated like crazy. Also, I still have some food aversions.

How is everyone else?
 
On Wednesday I was 8w2d at my dr. office.. The birthday is on the 29th of December. My baby was 16mm perfectly nicely growing in my uterus. my dr. saw a heart. However, I am keep looking at the video, I can't see it.
I asked my dr. to do a transabdomnal u/s she told me no, we use transvaginal, you won't see much. I told her I only want to see if it's not ectopic. So she went for it.
And now listen to this.
6 weeks ago she told me to take aspirin and progesterone till 12 weeks.
She'll take care of me till 12 weeks.

Yesterday everything has change suddenly.
New dr. orders;
1. Start getting off the progesterone today reduce one pill each week. So it mean by week 11 I'll be not taking it anymore. She doesn't see the reason to continue cos my progesterone is good. 28-32 Of course cos I am taking it. I'll make sure to continue till 12 weeks cos placenta starts producing it's own hormone.

2. Stop aspirin now cos I don't have any diagnosis of blood clot disorder. I told her I am afraid to stop now. I might have circulation problems cold hands and feet.. Will asprin hurt the baby? Dr. just shaked her shoulders. I might get a second opinion, I really want to continue till 12 weeks.

3. Find a gynecologyst in this area. I take care of you till I find an embryo in the uterus.
She dischared me that day.
I asked if she can recommend a gyn., she told me she can not tell me where not to go.

She gave me a paper that we need to fill out when baby arrives. They need a statistics for her clinic.

I still have colorful dreams and painful breasts.

My symptoms are almost gone today too :( I'm very stressed with this. I ordered a doppler, I just hope I'm able to hear the hb at 9 weeks with it. I keep having nightmares for the past 4 or 5 days...is this a symptom?
 
for me it seems like my sysmptoms are getting worse by the day. Extremely nauseaus, extra saliva and constatntly tired.

tooscared and mafi i am sure baby is fine, maybe u r the lucky ones that don't have symptoms for long, but they say sometimes it tapers off only to come back worse....who knows so just enjoy it lol
 
Nightmares and vivid dreams ate definitely symptoms. With my son I had the craziest dreams and scariest nightmares. I haven't had that symptom with this pregnancy.

I was extremely lucky with my son to only have ms until about week 9, and I was barely sick at all with him. This time around it was much worse and it started a little earlier but it seems to be going around the same time. I'm starting to wonder if I'm even pregnant again.

Dovkav, the fertility specialist told me to stop aspirin at 8 weeks too. I didn't have a clotting problem but I have Raynaud's, which is a circulation problem. I stopped it at 8 weeks. I was only taking it at a precaution. My gp told me that sometimes taking aspirin too long into pregnancy (without a clotting disorder) could effect baby's heart valves. I'm not exactly sure how. Sorry she wasn't more helpful to you. I had an abdominal scan last week and was dated 8+4. I couldn't see the heartbeat either but the tech let us listen. I have a picture, baby looks like a potato. Haha!

Dreambaby, I'm sorry you're feeling worse. I hope your symptoms start easing soon. Have you heard of seasickness bands? They're really supposed to help.

Dovkav: I know you are probably pretty anxious about the doctor changing your plan of action, but if you don't need progesterone because your numbers are good, then cutting it back slowly and eventually stopping isn't a bad thing. Same for aspirin... I was taking vitex and aspirin when I became pregnant and the doctor wasn't able to give me any clear indications.. so I made my own choice, I didn't stop cold turkey but I started reducing vitex and only took aspirin every other day and then stopped...
I dont know if aspiring hurts the baby, but if you dont have a circulation problem then there's no point in taking it. I remember reading some stuff about not taking aspirin for women who have had previous MC. Also, you are circulating more blood in your body now... I also have cold feet and cold hand often, and have been colder than usual since pregnant, but I think its because my energy is taken up by the baby!!!

I hope you find a OB/GYN!! I dont have one, I am with a general doctor and they are a team of 12 that deliver babies at the Lasalle hospital, which is supposed to be pretty good. If there are complications then the OB/GYN steps in, but if all is good, they do the delivery. It's very hard finding doctors in Quebec, so I feel you but dont be discouraged!!
Also, I opted for a general doc, because they also take care of baby for the first 2 months before I have to find a pediatrician.

The point is: do what is right for you and see how you feel, once you hit 12 weeks you will feel very relieved, the most important thing is to remain calm, rested and HOPEFUL :):)
 
Looks like everyone is doing great, minus the MS and some u/s anxiety? :)

we have the downs syndrome testint next week, so we we are pretty excited to see the baby on the /s and anxious to know that all is well with its chromosomes... I have faith that the baby is ok and that its developing well. I just want the test results so we can spill the beans to everyone!!!
 
My doctor appointment was blah too! I was expecting so much more from our first obgyn appointment. It took forever and a day to be seen. An hour and a half. And all the doctor did was an exam and talk about all of the genetic screenings which are available. I was so disappointed that we didnt get an ultrasound. I was sooo spoiled by getting one every week at the RE! Lol. Our next appointment is June 6 and we will get an ultrasound.
I will be just short of 12 weeks and it will be a month after our last US so the growth in the baby is sure to be unbelievable!! Can't wait! The doctor could tell I was anxious about not being able to see the baby so she got the Doppler and told me not to be scared of we didn't hear anything because it was still early. She found the heartbeat and we heard it for the first
Time! It was 177. Yay!

I am also anxious about stoping my
Progesterone but I keep telling myself that my doctors know what they are doing. I was taking it 2x a day since my iui and last week at 9 weeks it was reduced to 1x a day and this week it was reduced to 1x every other day. Tomorrow is my last one. As excited as I am to not deal with the dripping anymore (and right in time for summer!) it is still a scary step. Especially since they didn't do post stopping bloodwork.

As far as symptoms I really feel very lucky. I never got too many. Sore bbs , fatigue and occasional MS but no vomiting. I can't believe it- but I am grateful!!

Ps I think I can feel my uterus starting to appear!! It's a bit harder than usual above my pubic bone when I stand!
