~ Count down to our MARCH bfp ~

is anyone having symptoms?

yeah a few but they all seem to be associated with bfn's so far :growlmad:

glad to hear your lump was "only" and infected hair follicle and nothing more sinister......

exactly really scared me... i had a smile on face when told partner was on strong antibiotics he thinks i was crazy...

well im 8/9 dpo bfn but headache tired spots etc

Good luck to all of the April testers :dust:

The :witch: is due today. She isn't in sight but for some stupid reason she always waits until late at night to show her ugly face. Still :bfn: but she hasn't arrived yet, so there is still hope
Actually i NEED her to show by the 12th if there isn't a bean in there. As our insurance is ridiculously expensive and we need to physically have that baby by the end of the year. I am perfectly fine not being preggo from this cycle but i am gonna cry if she doesn't come by the 12th :sad1: I am notorious for 10 day LPs so today is the day. Im waiting to test until tomorrow though. x

It is terrible here...and yet everyone complained when the President wanted to help Americans out. There is state insurance, which is free, the only thing is you have to make a certain income or less each month and if you dont then you can't get it and have to go private. DHs job give us insurance but we have to pay $12,000 per year for and we have no other options because i am a SAHM. We pay about $600 per month in perimum and then $4500 beyond that per year. We applied for state insurance for our 6 month old who has brain issues (Chriari Malformation Type 1) and we got denied on account of making a mere $5.85 over the monthly income limit.:grr::growlmad: So obviously we dont meet the income limits but we only make that much more which is not enough for insurance. :dohh:It furriates me and they had no compassion. Like seriously?!?! Wish my DH just would have worked 10 minutes less each month, then my son would have been covered :( GRRR. okay, sorry for ranting lol

Chiari Malformation Type one is an issue near the base of the brain and spinal cord. Basically the space is slightly too wide and he gets the scary "spells" which resemble severe seizures, but they are not seizures. When he is the sitting or upright positions he will go into a spell. It is very positional in nature and basically what happens is the base of his brain falls into the space near the spinal cord and then the spinal cord gets "cut off" from the brain. It only last a few seconds though so it doesn't appear to be causing any damage. He is in the process of growing out of it (Praise God!). Some ppl never grow out of it, others do. Its genetic. We have to be especially careful walking down the steps with him. If he goes into a spell, we have to hold him in a laying position (like the football position) to get him out of a spell. I hate them, he used to get them so much but now its been a month and a half so we think he is outgrowing it to a ceratain degree. He has had at least 5 MRIs (which he had to be sedated for ) and he has had CT Scans and other tests. Poor little guy has been through more in his short 6 months of life than most any adult i knwo. But good news is we have a GREAT team of Neurologist looking him over all the time....just hate the price that goes with it  but when something is wrong with your kid, you climb mountains for them.

You sure do my son had meningitis at 4 weeks old.. i spent 9 months hoping he was healthy then soon as something like that happens all we want is for them to live and we'll do anything!! 'luckily' he only as few hearing difficulties but was very lucky!

i hope your son grows out of it it sounds a nightmere, not the looking after but as he grows they need to go out alone and play with friends .... then it be a whole different worry for us!!
can another baby get the same then :nope: sending lots of healthy baby dust and glue your way...

Thanks hun :hugs:
Anything is possible, so there is a chance another LO can have this, but I think there is an even greater chance subsequent babies will NOT have it because it is such a rare thing and this is the first case (that we know of) in both our immediate families.

I'm sorry if you felt i was interupting a bit there, just very excited lol x

Haha, np hunnie! This is the place to be excited! I am so excited for you!
In fact, i may just go take OPK now

mumm, when you said you got a positive OPK, does that mean it looks positive like it would if you were ovulating or does it just have a faint line? Bc i took one (out of curiosity and im trying to save my last HPT) and the LH line is showing up lightly but not positive. truth?...of course I am only 10 DPOs (AF is due today) and i only held my pee in for about 2 hours (a little less) and it was FMU.

Here's the pic, i think its going to be pos soon. Or was later last night. I'm just bding every given oportunity now as I had no sign of a line before yesterday.
