Countdown to November 6th. Anybody else have scans around then?

Hard to believe I'm halfway through this pregnancy already!!

Yeah still counting and I LOVE the weekends cos they go so much quicker than the week days!

Only a few days to go woooooo.

I can't wait to do the shopping after. I'll only have a tiny bit to spend but I'll buy something I'm sure

I haven't bought anything either, once I find out the sex I'm going to celebrate by buying the going home outfit

I'm pretty sure it's a boy going by my 12 weeks so I've kept a big black bin bag of stuff from my nephew so I have lots of clothes but will still buy more! Other than that I have bought a couple of small bits such as bibs, spoons, baby hair brush and a rattle

I have no clothes I gave everything away this year. I only kept clothing from my boys from important times like take home outfit, christening clothes they were changed into etc

I'm lucky my friends have given me things such as sterilizer baby bath, linen etc. I'm feeling it's a girl but I don't know if that wishful thinking lol

I would love a little girl, it sound awful but I will be really disappointed at first if it's a boy but I know ill get over that the same day! I think I feel a bit of pressure too as my Mum desperately wants a little granddaughter!

I'm just so so happy it's so close now, super exciting stuff.

4 days! Today has gone fast and tomorrow will too but I can bet Monday and Tuesday will bludy drag!

We've had our gender scan last month, but we have a follow-up scan on the 4th to get some pics they weren't able to get the last time. I can't wait to see our girl again!

You don't sound awful I would react the same way and it doesn't help that everyone is telling me they think it's a girl lol

Yeah, they couldn't get all the pics they needed of her heart, so we're getting another one. I'm definitely not complaining about seeing her again!

My mom also wanted a granddaughter, she already had a grandson by my sister. But now she wouldn't trade her 2 boys for anything.....but now with this baby, she's still hoping for a granddaughter.

Well my brother has a little boy but he also HAD a little girl who would now be 8 I think but he stopped seeing her many years ago, Infact I last saw her when she was 4 months old. And that has always really upset my Mum as the Mum of the girl won't let us see her so I think my Mum would love a little girl again.

Ah well what will be will be, I just know it's a boy, with the nub theories and the identicality between my scan and other peoples boy scans and a hint of mothers instinct!

I thought my scan was on the 1st...when it was scheduled, she said she'd do it the same day as my prenatal. But when I looked at the paperwork last week, I saw it was in fact scheduled for the 4th. In exactly 23 hours I find out my baby's gender...man, these are going to be long hours! I can't wait! But they referred me to an outside business for my ultrasound, not sure why...and at my prenatal, my OB said she'd be looking over the images when they were sent to her but not going over them with me in any way unless there was a problem. Why the high-tech hospital I'm going to for my prenatals had to refer out for this, I don't know. Really wish this were being done by my office with a midwife or doctor present to look at it with me. The place doing the scan is just an imaging center, they do cancer and growth scans and anything else needed. But if they can tell a gender I do not know. Ah well...I should probably stop thinking too much about this.

Thats so horrible that the mother wont let you see your niece... but you know when she gets older she will get curious and the truth will eventually come out.

Everything will be fine... Im going to a specialised centre too a week from today. I hope this week flies by. It should considering I have so much to do.

My OB also refers out but it's a perinatal center doing the ultrasound (high risk pregnancy center). Not sure why, I'm not high risk, but they also did my sons ultrasounds. I like it because they are really experienced with great machines, very high quality.

They haven't given me any awesome pics this time but with my son I got this at my 12 week ultrasound- LOVE!
