Creeped out

I've been staying at my parents for the last 2 months (in the middle of moving) and tonight is the first night I am spending by myself. I get creeped out so easily I was just about asleep and I heard a thump and can't find the source... we're out in the country and I'm so nervous it's silly yet here I am at 3am typing away to scared to go back to bed

There are always funny bumps and noises here too, and sometimes i sounds like someone is walking around upstairs when both kids are asleep.
Its he water pipes or some kind of pipes my OH says..but everytime i have to check it out.
You'll settle and get used to it soon

Aww! I get like that sometimes too. Try putting a tv or a radio on to help you. Although this is a moot point now as it is 3:30 pm there now.
