Like previous replies, I'd recommend watching Youtube for easy tutorials regarding different stitches and techniques.

Try crocheting a granny square - they're easy and fun for a newbie.

Thank you for this inspiring thread. I was browsing some crochet Beenie/hat for new born and came across vet pricey-to-me ones (above + 79$).

Doing it yourself is the way to go for me. I guess I can use my own creativity to make a cool design ^_^ ... But first and for the most challenging-for-me part is to start learning how to crochet as I don't know anything about it lol.

I will start browsing Youtube for instructions for beginners

So I started crocheting a baby blanket just to keep myself occupied and to make time pass by faster.

It's pretty straight forward and I think it's adorable.
