Can anyone recommend where to start? I really want to learn but for me the first steps are always really daunting.
Like previous replies, I'd recommend watching Youtube for easy tutorials regarding different stitches and techniques. Try crocheting a granny square - they're easy and fun for a newbie.
Thank you for this inspiring thread. I was browsing some crochet Beenie/hat for new born and came across vet pricey-to-me ones (above + 79$). Doing it yourself is the way to go for me. I guess I can use my own creativity to make a cool design ^_^ ... But first and for the most challenging-for-me part is to start learning how to crochet as I don't know anything about it lol. I will start browsing Youtube for instructions for beginners
So I started crocheting a baby blanket just to keep myself occupied and to make time pass by faster. It's pretty straight forward and I think it's adorable.
