Hi Ladies,

Does anyone know what baby's CRL should be at 13-14 weeks.

My bubz was 6.4cm and I heard it should be 7.4cm average???

Think I should be concerned?

Nope babys grow at different rates.. X

Mine was 67.2mm at 13 weeks. In my notes there is a little scale next to every recorded set of measurements. Its a line with a dot in the centre and they mark on this line where where your baby comes, anywhere on this line is normal but the dot in the middle is the average.
On my 17 week scan measurements everything was near the dot in the centre except for the babies belly measurement - it was way off to one end of the scale (ie big!) I queried it with the consultant and he said its still normal but if you line up 100 average babies then mine would be number 97 at the top of the belly size (if that makes sense?)
Can i just point out that this must be inherited from its father..... :)

Thanks hon I just don't want there to be fundamental growth problems :D

Kiss for princess "Bump" Xxx

I worry too, I still havent felt him/ her move so I think you get over one worry and then you get another!! They take all the measurements again at your 20 week scan and do it all properly then, they would have told you if there was any concern that the baby was small. I think mine is a bit big from the 17week readings but they can never know exactly how far along you are, i dont know when I ovulated!
Good luck hun xxx

Haha had to laugh at this

My DH is short! And I won't mind so much if it's a girl but if a boy's then I won't really want him to be a "shorty"! haha

Haha!!! My OH is too, his legs are 28" but he is about 5'9-5'10. (Im 5'5)
Hope for bubba's sake it gets my legs.....!!! He has beautiful blue eyes with long dark lashes so I hope baby inerits them and gets my dark hair. Cant wait to see what he/ she looks like!
They say go by the mums feet to see size of baby, my mum is a size 7 and my sis and bro are tall. Im a size 5 and shorter so Im the odd one out!

Hi :) I don't really post on here as I am not quite 2nd tri yet! Anyway I had my scan at 13 weeks and the CRL was 6.67cm, which was a teeny bit below average (thanks for explaining the scale I wondered what that was!)

Can't wait to join you all properly in a few days :) xx

LOL @ Lucy ~ I am also a size 5 and my sister and mom are both tall and a size 7-8 size shoe! My parents were both tall and out of my siblings yes like you - I'm the odd one out :D

My DH on the other hand comes for very small stock! His mom wears a size 3-4 shoe! Mind you his sister and brother are tall and his dad so you never know.

DH also has beautiful baby blue eyes (which I WISH baby would inherit!), but unfortunately I have dark brown eyes and hair and that seems to be the dominant gene... As long as Bubz is healthy then I'm happy tho!

I'm here already Anna hehe but I was so cynical until my scan yesterday! But doctor okayed me and my Baby was perfect so I decided to move over, sides it's getting lonely in first tri as all our "November Sparklers" seem to have moved in already :) Hehe chat more then hon Xxx

Anna and Jogami, I always jump back to 1st Tri, sometimes you see questions that you have already been through and give help to 1st Tri girls, when I first cane to 2nd Tri I felt a but 'out of the loop' as I couldnt really relate to a lot of the stuff. Now im getting to grips with 2nd Tri :)
Anna, I didnt understand the scale at first but freaked a bit when i saw the belly was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy off so I queried it! Lol x
