Custard slices

Hi everyone does anyone know how to make the custard in the middle of custard slices i buy them an just eat the custard its soo nice an i dont know how to make it please get back to me Thanks[/B]

hi i have a recipe for confectioners custard never made it so not sure if it's the same i'll post it tomorrow x

2 eggs
50g caster sugar
30ml plain flour
30ml corn flour
300ml milk
vanilla flavoring


cream eggs and sugar together until thick and pale in colour
sift and beat in the flour and corn flour and add a little cold milk to make a smooth paste.

heat the rest of the milk in a pan and stir over a low heat until boiling.
Add a few drops of vanilla flavoring and cook for a futher 2-3 mins until thick and smooth.

cover and leave until cold !!
