So we are in cycle 8 of TTC #1. We are 35 and 44 and are currently on many supplements, pre seed, conceive plus, and guafenesin. Would have a doctors appt by November if nothing. Anyone else in the same boat?

I am. We talked before, I remember you ;)
I'm 35 too and C8 too, but still nothing here.. Taking new vitamins called procrea F this month.. I'm supposed to see the doctor in september to do more tests...
Didn't think it would be that long.
How are you?

Im getting kinda bummed. What are those vitamins for? I am currently on coq10 for old eggs, omega, prenatals, vitamin b, vitamin D, lcarnitine, maca root, chia seeds, and guafenesin. I think thats it :)
Was dtd every other day, but trying to switch it up a little since that wasnt working.

Same boat here, cycle #10 :(

Went to the Dr. yesterday for my annual pap and talked to her a bit about TTC. She gave me the number to our infertility clinic but wanted us to try for 6 more months before going. She said to put everything away (OPK's, BTT, etc) and just have sex every other day from CD10-20.

We said we'd give it 3 more months and then call - I'm a little nervous because I'm not sure how much I'm covered. I've heard not much is.

I heard the same that much is out of pocket. still waiting for my insurnace to kick in in november...

It's really unfortunate that infertility coverage is only required in a couple of states in the US. Normal reproduction shouldn't be a privilege of the wealthy, IMO.

Hopefully your doctors appointment will yield some answers for you! (Actually, my fingers are crossed for a BFP before then. ;) )

my vitamins are about the same.. omega 3, taurine, B6, 9, 12, C, E, zinc, selenium, magnesium, DHA... lets hope it works this month !

Hello! We are now n cycle 9 :( cycle 7 was 45 days, cycle 8 was 89 days, and now for cycle 9 the FS has put me on BCP as I have a large cyst on my right ovary and we can't do anything until it's gone. So looks like cycle 9 will be a no as well as I won't even ovulate thanks to BCP.

I went to the doctor after 2 month no AF and she sent me for bloods and an U/S then referred us to a FS.... Hoping this hurries up. I should already have my baby in my hands :(

Good luck ladies

I am so sorry, thats such a bummer. Wells ending positive thoughts your way :flower:

Cycle 8 here, after 7 cycles of BFN while TTC# 1. I am 28 and I have been pregnant before though we lost it at 7 weeks. Just got an HSG done, tubes clear. Also DHs Sperm Analysis results are good. We are due for an IUI if BFNs continue :(

I'm 35, DH is 37. On cycle 12 (month 11) and expect AF tomorow or the day after, then I'll be on to cycle 13. I'm very regular, O always CD13 or sometimes CD14. I've had a Pap smear and no problems, DH has normal SA but it's on the really low end of normal though:wacko: I've had a chemical back in cycle 7 but never saw a BFP as I was planning on testing but started bleeding the day before my planned test day.

I'm on pregnancy multivitamins (can't get prenatal ones in Denmark), Omega 3, EPO and Q10. DH is on a multi, Omega 3 and Q10 as well.

It's very frustrating. We can get a referral until we've tried 1 more month as the state pays the costs of assisted conception and they want to be sure we really are having issues. But our GP seems to be getting some of the testing done before he'll refer us and is now talking about us getting bloodwork. So it looks like he'll refer us definitely in October but we're going to see if we can get the referral a bit before.

It's so very frustrating, really thought it wouldn't take more than 4 cycles, maybe 6:wacko: Really would love to know what the problem is but perhaps we'll find out in a few months.

wow, you are lucky that the state pays for assisted conception! Im hearing that alot of that will be out of pocket. It is so frustrating, time consuming, agitating, and for us the farthest thing from fun. Its like a second job with no pay at the end of the month :)

Well they pay most of the bill, think DH and I will be paying a bit but yeah:) I just think the rules stink here that no matter your age, you have to have been actively trying for at least 12 months. I don't get why they don't differentiate between, say a 24 year old and a 38 year old as odds are, the 38 year old is more likely to have issues conceiving.

Yeah it's really frustrating that it's taking some of us so long to conceive:( I get a bit gutted every month seeing all the ladies who get their :bfp:s and AF coming for me every single time. I'm happy for them but also sad that it never seems to be my turn to get my :bfp::cry:

Here's hoping cycle #13 is lucky, I've previously had a bit of luck with that number so we'll see:happydance:

I am in the same boat too, cycle #8 for me - though the only vitamins I take are prenatal vitamins - are those ones Ok or should I take something more?

I take a myriad of supplements but who knows what will work or not work. I take bcomplex and omegas for shorter lp, coq10 for older eggs, maca root, lacarnitine, vitamin d and a prenatal. I am doing dairy and caffeine free and added chia seeds to my food. I have always done low carb. But as you can see all that and still nothing:growlmad:

Glad girls ! It's good to be able to talk and see we're not alone. Like KatO79, I thought it would take 4 months but nope... I didn't tell anyone we were TTC, so I hang around here!
I live in France and I have no idea if assisted conception is covered.. Probably, at least half of it.. To be fair, I hope I won't need to know!
I'm around 12 Dpo, bbs are a little sore. Never happens to me unless on AF day, so fingers are crossed..
What about you girls? when is AF due?

I unfortunately did tell a lot of people, including my in-laws:dohh: Smart of you not to tell people as I feel like they're all waiting each month to hear any good news and have even been offering their 2 cents. DH told them once that I was upset one month because AF showed up and their advice: I should try to relax because that's clearly why I can't get pregnant:dohh: This is coming from people who started much earlier having kids (think they were around 25-ish) and never had problems conceiving their 3 boys. I'm sure they blame me as their oldest had his 2 kids easily so of course their second born couldn't possibly have fertility issues and it must be me:dohh:

Since it's highly likely I'll be needing assisted conception, I'm not looking forward to telling them that as I'm sure they think it's my fault in some way since we haven't told them about DH's SA results:nope:

So yeah, be glad you haven't told people and can now avoid receiving their unwanted advice:thumbup:

Well I just got AF yesterday so AF will be due again around the 22nd of September:flower:

same I don't want to test too early !
Kat, that seems annoying! I understand why you told them, it's so exciting to decide to have a baby! Maybe they're not blaming you, but I know how you feel..
btw hey copenhagen ! love the city ! I lived there for a few months when I was 20 !

Yeah I told them because I felt like then they wouldn't be wondering anymore when the next grandchild is coming since the eldest son has 2 but is now getting divorced (so no more grandchildren from him) and the youngest is not having any kids anytime soon, if at all:nope:

I feel like they are. Telling DH the reason why I haven't gotten pregnant yet is because Iwant it too much is like blaming me. I'm sure they think the fault is with me since no one in their family has had a fertility issue. They just don't get what it's like for people with fertility issues since they never had them and no one they know has or had any. They feel like babies just come naturally and just relaxing means you get pregnant right away.

Oh cool, were you an exchange student here or...?
