So on March 14th I went in for my ultrasound, hoping to get news of some good follies...instead I get news of a golf ball sized cyst. And now I am freaking out!
Dr is already talking surgery! Isn't it a bit early to talk surgery?? Maybe I wouldn't be worried about surgery if the last surgery for a cyst didn't result in the removal of an ovary/fallopian tube.
Funny thing too, this was my 3rd cycle of Femara and bam! cyst! I had more cycles than I can even remember on Clomid and I ovulated like clock work and never a cyst.
What I'm wondering is, is it normal for a cyst to grow to a golf ball size from nothing within a 30 day period?
Also, if my dr suggests surgery to remove it again, should I go ahead with it or be apprehensize since it is my last ovary? I am not ready to give up the chance of ever having biological children.
This whole experience has terrified me boyond belief, I keep getting panic attacks etc. I wonder if it's time to go for the IVF? Not that we could even afford it, but if somehow, some way...?
Is this normal?
