Well from hell arrived this morning on cd25 !!! 3 days early for me. It was my first round of Clomid and I am feeling soooooo down. Really had hoped that the extra boost of Clomid would have worked but NO onto cycle 2 for me. I am suprised that it has shortened my cycle and I am thinking I must have ovulated on day 10/11 which is also early for me.

Does anyone have any experiences of Clomid shortening your cycles ? I have never had the arrive so soon. Without giving TMI I have bright red blood which I haven't had for a few years and quite a good flow too. Normally I have brownish and light flow and only lasts 3/4 days max. Perhaps this will flush my system and I will get lucky on the next round ?

Feeling sad and have dreadful pains to remind me that we are no further forward................

Clomid has shortened mine. It has also stopped me from ovulating but that's not how it is for most people. So now I have a regular 29/30 day cycle but no eggs. Dammit.

Hi Puddleduck, soz to hear about the witch arriving!

I was taking clomid for 6 moths, unfortunately didn't get my bfp but it certainly did shorten my cycles from between 35-42 days to about 25-28 days. Now that I'm off it, they were shorter cycles to start off with but now they are getting longer again, which is really frustrating!

Clomid lengthened mine, but I know how frustrating it is to be on your first round and think "this might be it". It's a huge letdown.

I'm with you puddleduck! Clomid shortened my cycle to 25 days but the next one was something like 31 days. I've had 3 rounds and they haven't worked yet, waiting for the next round at 100mg as I've had a break for the HyCoSi and then LAp and Dye.
