Dark circles under the eyes?

Today all of a sudden I have these awful dark circles...I was wondering if anyone else had them or if they might be pregnancy related. I read that they are not actually from being tired like most people think, and that one reason you can get them is from extra blood flow that shows up under your eyes. Anyone else having this problem?

I've sadly had this all my life - I look like a reverse panda!! I also get much darker patches on my knees & elbows...

They do tend to get a lot darker when I'm tired, and have been really black for some time now. I don't know about you, but I seem to be needing more sleep and I do waken a couple of times through the night when turning over etc.

I never knew it was extra blood! Someone (non-medical) once said it lack of oxygen, but blood certainly makes more sense. Touch L'eclait & some Estee Lauder foundation does the trick of hiding them for me.

Same for me!!
I was told it was a sign of anaemia for people who don't normally have them.
For me it's just a thing that has been getting worse all my life, and no amount of healthy eating or iron pills make them any better. Thank god for Touch L'eclait!!
I was actually asked by my neighbour if I had been punched after the birth of my dd, but that was just how they looked after 3 days of no sleep!

I have had them all my life too however they do seem to be darker since I got pregnant. I have been really tired sime getting pregnant though so that could be some of the reason.

Im aneamic and have awful dark circles when my iron levels are low x
