Dark test line, faint control line?

So we think I'm about 9 weeks pregnant and I'm weird and like to poas every once in awhile still. I have the "answer" brand test...the test line is the left one right (when you're looking at it)? Well I did another one today and the test line was sooooo dark and control line was very faint. Is it true that when your hcg levels are so high, it pulls the color from the control line?

im not sure if this is the answer you looking for lol but if you have higher hcg levels then the test line would be darker

That's kind of what I figured, thank you so much! I am such a worry wart so I panic about everything lol

I attached a pic- even though the pic makes it look darker than it really is- odd. lol But you get the idea at least! I can't wait until Tuesday to find out how far along I really am. If I am truly only 5 weeks like I thought before, there must be twins in there

I do OPKs all the time coz i have loads of them and the same thing happens, the control line gets lighter and the test line seems to SUCK all the ink out of it

my theory is that the higher your levels, the quicker the line appears so the ink goes there and by the time the control line appears there is less ink to make it iyswim

Yes, that makes a lot of sense- it's just weird and it's still exciting to me! I have been wanting this for so long (tried for 2 years) so the excitement is still there! I just want my scan to be done with on Tuesday so I can find everything out. I am sick of feeling in the dark here!

That's good! lol I am mainly referring to my bulge I already have and the weight gain! Once I find out, my mind will stop racing and i'll stop coming up with all these conclusions! lol

could be twins im just going with the fact you thought you was only 5 weeks but uterous is feeling larger and you obvs got pretty high hcg levels

i could be wrong though :-/
