Date for Csection??? UK!

Hi I was just wondering when In my pregnancy I would get the date for my csection? im 22+2 weeks and would preferably like to get the date as soon as possible so I could arrange childcare for my children In advance etc, this will be my 2nd csection the last one was failed induction and I also suffer GD x

I booked my section at my consult appointment at 34 weeks. Although I had a specialist midwife appt at 20 weeks and I could've booked it then *if* I wanted to.

The section itself will be done after 39 weeks, the closest day that they have in which they do electives.

Mine is being booked when I will be 28weeks about a month away

will ask that its as close to week40 as poss x I know my hospital tend to do it during week39 x

Mine was booked at 29weeks because I asked for it the consultant was going to wait until 36 weeks giving us only 3 weeks notice....I'm a stress head and need to have everything organised you could always request a date x

Mine was booked at 28 week consultant appointment and the actual section on 39 weeks

Mine was booked at my 28 week appointment for 36 weeks due to previous complications and scarring they wanted to be sure my baby didn't get to big and stretch the scars or me go into Labour

I confirmed with doctor at 30 weeks that c-section was my chosen option after previous discussions. But I didn't get booked in until 36 weeks - that said the doctor checked the calendar at 30 weeks and told me the date it would probably be as she knew it would be planned for as close to 39+0 as possible. As it turns out it is on that date that she estimated (which is this Wednesday - eeek!)

We agreed my date at an appt when i was 36 weeksish, little bugger was 2 weeks early though!

I just got mine the other day. I was 35 weeks

I was told at my last consultant appointment that I will be given my date at 36 weeks. They want to do my section at 39 weeks, but i'm hoping he will agree to book me in for 38 weeks due to severe SPD, and sciatica pain.

I was told my section date at 36 weeks and the date I've been given is when I'm 39 weeks

I think I'm discussing it at my 34 week appointment and hope I get my date then as well!

I got mine at the consultants appointment at about 23/24 weeks. They did try to push me into vbac but as I had already done my research I had to push (quite hard) to tell them I had made my decision, so they booked it there and then. I was 38+5. Turned out baby was breech in the end anyway!

i got mine at 12 weeks at my first consultant appointment, booked in for 37 weeks
