"dating ultrasound" today!

I'm really nervous! I go in after work today for my first appointment after finding out i was preggo last week, they're going to do a dating ultrasound to try and see how far along i am since my cycles were messed up. I dont really know what to expect but more than anything i'm just kind of scared at what they'll say, i just want everything to go well and have a healthy little bean in there but there's so much that can go wrong! I'm really trying not to worry, but i'm a worrier and thats all coming out now! deep breath i know, deep breath.

Good luck for your scan!
Try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know!)
Be warned you probably wont get to see much at this stage so dont get too disappointed or worried. the sonographer should talk you through it all.

Good luck today! I wish I could get a dating scan (I'm irregular, like you). I have no idea when that will happen though.
