Davy Jones RIP

gutted, just heard that Davy Jones from the Monkees has died. I saw them at a reunion tour they did about 15 years ago and they were fantastic. I grew up watching the repeats of the Monkees on the tv and I was always asking my dad if I could listen to his copies of their albums.

I'm really shocked, he was only 66.

Wonder if they will put the monkies back on tv as a tribute

I hope so. I have been having a monkees tribute party tonight on spotify - the kids were not too impressed though. My 4 year olds idea of music is pink and katy perry!

This made me sad, too...I used to love watching The Monkees when I was little. I even have original singles on vinyl my family passed onto me, as I was such a little fan!
