Day 21 bloods

Hi ladies

I posted this in TTC but thought I'd maybe get more response from you guys that have probably been through this already?

Im due to go for day 21 bloods on saturday (to prove I have Ov'd) but I know I haven't Ov'd yet so what do I do?

I have been charting for a year & usually have regular 27/28 day cycles always Oving between CD14-16 but I am currently on CD19 & there is still no sign

Do I still go even tho I may not have Ov'd by then? or do I make another appt for 7 days after I finally Ov??

Hey Nic

I got told to go for my 21 day bloods and if AF hadn't turned up 7 days later then you would need a re-test. If you do get AF then they they are less likely to re-test - did they mention doing another test on CD3-5?

I ovulated late when i had my bloods - think it was stress! I actually rang GP and asked if i should postpone as i knew i normally ovulated so she said to put it forward to the Monday.

Maybe ring your GP and see what they suggest? If you ovulate late then AF will also be late chick so you could do a re-test later?x

Yeah she said Id need to go on CD3 of my next cycle x

The other angle is to chart, and go 7 days after you know you ovulated

She just told me to drop in to see the nurse at the hospital, so do you think I should wait to see when I Ov then go for bloods 7 days later?

There doesn't seem to be any point going if I haven't Ov'd is there? x
