Wasn't sure which section I should post this in. I have a son who is 4 months old and would love to give him a brother or sister one day but def not right now lol. I'm not on any birth control because of a blood clotting disorder I have I don't have many options. The only option I really have is to get an Iud but after researching them I chose not to get one. So as an alternative me and my oh have been using condoms. There was one time about two weeks ago when we didn't use one. We used the pull out method and I wasn't really worried about it until he told me later that he didn't pull out fast enough. :dohh: I don't think I was ovulating at the time so I was back and forth on whether I should take the day after pill or not. I ended up taking it a little after 48 hours later just to be on the safe side. It says to take it at least 72 hours after sex for it to work. My question is can the day after pill mess up your cycle and cause you to get your period late? I was supposed to get it already and don't have any signs of it yet. I usually have cramps a couple days before. I'm just really worried now. :nope:

I don't think it can. BUT stress can scare your period away.

Try to relax a bit. :hugs:

I've never taken it, but my friend did and it messed up her period that month. And Glitter is right, stress can mess up your cycle also.

It can mess up your next cycle a bit- either make it early or late. If you're still worried in a few days then take a test to be sure, but try not to stress in the meantime in case it's down to that!

It can definitely mess with your cycle for at least once cycle, maybe two.

Also, take a test, juuuuust in case. Hope af shows soon, though! :hugs:
