Would they be any good in a little girls room as a single? I know they're mainly used for guest rooms but I just think they look so pretty. What do you think?

I think that would work. Ikea has pretty ones! I think a lot of people use them in little girls rooms xx

I'm planning on getting my daughter this one https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50080315/ when she's outgrown her cotbed. Her bedrooms tiny so need all the storage we can get, planning in doing it as a sofa for her to chill on during the day and bed at night x

As long as you get a decent mattress for it it should be fine.

The ikea ones are really cute!

I used to have one in my room as a teenager/early 20s living with parents - so I could build it up into a sofa during the day (although in reality, me actually MAKING the bed would have been progress)... the only thing that would worry me with the one I had (the metal-framed Ikea one, if you've been looking in Ikea you'll know the one I mean) would be that the gaps between the bars look a good width for kid's heads possibly getting stuck in - a bit too wide for comfort for my liking.

I want a day bed so bad for Madi. They are gorgeous!
