Hi Ladies,
My insurance basically covers nothing fertility wise. Would it be smarter to do my tests with my GP or go to a fertility specialist?
Cheers,
H.Suckle

I was told that about my insurance as well, however, I found out that they will cover medications. Double check it. You really have to ask specific questions when dealing with insurance. My insurance will cover medications up to 5,000 I think, but no fertility procedures. They will also cover blood work for diagnosis purposes only.\

So far I've just had doctor's appointments and blood tests, but I paid for everything out of pocket and/or applied for financial aid at the hospital. I'm completely uninsured though.

Most insurances cover diagnostic testing and meds but not fertility treatments sucks as IUI or IVF....I'd make sure you are answering the right questions and whatever fertility doc you are thinking of going to, ask them because they deal with this all the time.
