December 2014 Due Dates - Join me :)

Nina, that's great about your 7 week scan! Keep us posted for sure! I'm having an 8 week one on April 25th, and can't wait! The only internationally trained doctor I could find is 2 hours by bullet train to the north of the island we're on. DH and I work at the same school, so people are really going to start talking when we both take the day off for the appointment. We're trying to keep it a secret, but I don't know how much longer we can. When are you guys planning on telling people, and who? Someone already asked my assistant if I'm pregnant because they noticed I'm always eating the extra fruit that is served to our students at snack time, and I've fallen asleep almost every day on my prep time! :haha:

After a sudden drop off in symptoms that lasted, like, a day and a half, I have been super nauseous and dizzy and have had a headache for 3 days so far. On another thread, someone told me that I'm too early to even have symptoms, but I'm definitely not imagining it all!

prachipie, welcome and congrats! This is my first baby too, and I'm also really type-A, so the wait is driving me crazy. And, of course, I was reading stuff that freaked me out too. I'm just trying to relax a bit about it, and now I'm finding that I'm too sleepy to even spend time really worrying...I just focus on making it through my day with 25 energetic 4 year olds keeping me very busy and distracted :)

Would love to be in the club (finally). My due date is around Dec 8th. Just had my bfp yesterday. Can't fathom it at all because I have been ttc for 7 years. I have an adopted baby girl who will turn one in a few days.

Best wishes to you all

Congratulations Amber, that's wonderful news! You must be over the moon!
Lucky little girl you have, I know you're probably scared of the age difference, but I grew up with a sister only 1 year older than me and it was so much fun! (we obviously don't really talk these days though :winkwink:)

Hey ladies mind if I crash the party too?

I got my bfp today whilst at a fertility appointment! The sweet irony lol... I did a cb digi and it said I am 1-2 weeks! I think my due date is 23-25 December. Im still in utter shock I just can't grasp it yet!

Until now I have been scared of the opposite: too much Space between the kids. And suddenly this happened :cloud9: Actually we would not have wanted it much different, I know the first year will be rough but I think the rest of their chilhood it will be a great blessing. I am myself a twin and how I've loved always having my sister. (We talk a lot these days)

How do you Guys make those bumber stickers that tell about baby's Development?

You need to put the link in your signature, I always get mixed up when it comes to signatures!

Welcome to all the new ladies! I have added you all to our Due Date list on page one :) I will up our list as dates change and as some of us find out the sex of our little ones. If you are going with "Team Yellow" and keeping the sex a mystery until birth, let me know and I will update it now.

Amber - That is so awesome that you have an adopted child and that her and this new baby will be so close in age :)

Randa - Let them talk....It's fun once and a while to keep people guessing! GL with your scan....It's amazing to see that little baby on the screen (even when it doesn't quite resemble a baby yet!). Also, it's def not to early for symptoms!

Peanut - Awesome to get such great news at a fertility appointment. I found out I was pregnant with my second child 10 days after taking provera which was prescribed by my fert specialist to bring on AF so we could start fert meds :)

AFM - Had my first craving yesterday! Tuna salad sandwiches :) I actually just had one for breakfast.....ad I've been digging in to the dill pickle jar! Also, ice tea with lemon juice and pepse (I craved this with my last pregnancy as well).

Anyone else getting craving yet?

I want to know the sex so will let you know in 8 odd weeks when I have my scan.

I have craved different things but nothing serious. I have been feeling EXTREMLY hungry recently. Like after I eat im hungry again. I will be so fat by the end lol

I want to find out sex too - I don't know how people have the willpower to wait (I am always quite impatient though...) The minute I found out with my daughter the shopping started :) I craved chocolate in my last pregnancy which is strange as I hated it before... Thing is the craving never quite left me and still quite happily munch on a bar (or two) a day...

Thanks! I know, you're so right. I've calmed down some over the last day or so, read some additional articles and feel like it is less likely thank I initially thought (knock on wood!). I'm super early still, I think 4w+4d ish, and have been feeling fine. Was pretty sleepy the last couple afternoons (but that is probably bc I've been cutting out caffeine). Can't imagine dealing with 25 4 year olds everyday!

When did people start getting the classic symptoms? I've read they start between 5 to 8 weeks, but it seems like some people get them sooner. Anyway, very excited to be sharing this journey with all of you!

Tmb, my edd is Dec 6, my birthday is the 3rd :)

My bbs starting hurting 3 weeks ago and nausea started around then too. I also had a uti! And past week I had really bad mood swings. Yesterday I shed a tear at work and again today in the clinic whilst I was waiting for my appointment... extreme hunger... thats about it.. oh and yesterday and today bursts of sleepiness and frequent urination a few days ago. I was up and down like a yo yo in the night!
