December 2017 Testers: Hopeful for Christmas and Year-end BFPs

Star bites don’t be discouraged! With my daughter I had a positive at 10dpo but this time around I got the faintest positive when my period was due at 15dpo. The lines had progressed since but I was surprised how different it was compared to my daughter

Sorry I was out for the last two days, ladies! I'm not usually online much Thursdays and Fridays. But I'm here now.

AFM, still not much to report. 8dpo, caved and tested this morning. BFN, of course, but I've never had a positive that early, anyway. I'm not bothered. My chart is looking pretty good this month, so I'm feeling hopeful at the moment.

Well ladies, I'm out. I had my progesterone drawn and it was 7.6 less than 24 hours after I felt like I O'd. The nurse was in complete shock because it's extremely rare to ovulate while stimming. My IUI was of course canceled, but she said to BD yesterday and today even though it's extremely unlikely for it to work. We did BD middle of the night on Monday and Tuesday, but I am not hopeful for anything. It's not fair they screwed up and now I'm out the money and time. I'm not sure when I'll be able to buy another cycle of meds. I'm hoping the doctor realized he screwed up and helps me with them one way or another.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten or get's a BFP this month!

AF got me and two days early too. Not sure whats up with that. 25 day cycle.

Also tried out my new BBT thermometer and it doesn't even work. Gave huge temp differences when I tried it three times in a row seconds apart.

I'm new here (but not new to TTC - my first daughter is an angel baby) and will be testing at around 10-11 DPO on Tuesday Dec. 12. This is my second TTC cycle since I lost Violet last year (BFN last month) and I have a very hopeful feeling about it! You'll find me over on the 2WW forum obsessing over symptoms

The last few cycles, I've managed to hold out until later tests dates, but yeah... I caved, so now it's at least once a day until I either get a bfp or AF hits!

Since I didn't have EWCM until yesterday my.ovulation is delayed which makes af due around 26.12 instead of 22, but I'm testing on christmas eve if I don't have any spottings at that time.

Got excited because I had a shadow/vvvfl show up on a test yesterday evening. Nothing this morning, so I guess it was a false alarm. Feeling discouraged, though I knew better than to start testing so soon.

Just a little rant....
I do my head in so much trying to analyse everything I've had Ov pain / cramping / bloating etc for like 2 days now and EWCM or watery but only just getting +OPKs in the last 24 hours. We DTD on Thursday night, as per our girl sway so to not get too close too Ov, and if Ov is REALLY only coming today perhaps we were too early I always tell myself I won't get too carried away with these things, but I always do.

So now the TWW ......... least there's all that busy Christmas stuff to do

everyone.

I wasn't going to join this month, but it doesn't seem to be making a difference in my stress/anxiety and i love watching people get their bfps- especially other lttc ladies.

I am 5-6 dpo (not sure i agree with ff's ov date). We only dtd 0-2 and 0-1. We have both been REALLY sick and i have been super drugged so no high hopes over here. My testing date is the 19th. We are done ttc so i really hope it happens (and sticks) soon.

Congrats to all the bfps!! And, as always, sorry for the bfns. It is hard every month, but it makes the holiday season even worse.

On another note, my period is due on the 17th instead of the 22nd now, so maybe my name could be moved? Although I will be testing much earlier. I will be 8 DPO tomorrow and am starting POAS then. My chart is freaking me out! It's being too good this cycle, and I don't want to be let down again. Oh, the joys...

So sorry for AF. AF got me too yesterday. It's light for 2 days now without even needing a pad. I came into conclusion that it's another anov cycle since not seeing my temps reached 98ish.
