I'm not having any physical problems with feeding but the broken sleep is killing me. I havnt hit deep sleep since she was born and I can really feel the strain mentally. Sometimes in the night if she cries when I put her back in her cot I start crying myself.

I think we will probably start trying for another when Lyra is one, that way even if I get pregnant straight away she will be big enough to go on a buggy board. Since it took over a year to get pregnant the first time though I don't think I'll get caught straight away xxx

Well i've been told now is our most fertile time!! And OMG i completely agree about the broken sleep, i cry my eyes out about it and dread the nights...

Yea I was told you were most fertile straight after birth too, I don't fancy less than a year between babies though!

Has anyone DTD again yet? After a thorough inspection of 'downstairs' I think I might give it a bash as soon as I can find the condoms xx

I have, waited 5 weeks. Was a little sore after but nothing too bad.

There is no way I could wait 5 weeks, I really don't know what is wrong with me! If it wasn't for the stitches I think I would have jumped OH already xx

Well it won't b me next, 1 of each is pefect and dh'll b going for the snip to avoid any accidents!!!

We dtd after about 3/4 weeks once the bleeding stopped and i wasn't so sore! dh hates using condoms tho so will b getting the pill at my 6 week postnatal check up next week! although it took us near enough 3 years to conceive ailsa u can guarentee that if we dtd without contraception just once atm then i'd fall preggers!! sods law and all that!


also girls was just wondering when to expect my first period?

Pixxie - lack of sleep is the hardest part in my opinion! I still cry now if Aimee wakes up screaming & won't sleep n she's nearly 2! It's just tiredness!

We were gonna wait til aimee was one but started when she was 10 months as expected to have to ttc for over a year like with Aimee! But no, I got pregnant 2nd cycle!! I want another so badly but I know I just can't right now! It's so nice havin one of each I am in 2 minds coz either Aimee or Alex would be outnumbered!

We haven't dtd yet n its drivin me mad! I need to wait til I sorted contraception out as condoms don't fit hubby (lucky me ) I'm gettin a coil I think! I didn't have stitches , I didn't so much as bruise so I'm hopin it don't hurt when we try it

Pixxie the only reason i waited 5 weeks was because of my stiches, i was ready to jump him after a week and a half.

Does anyone else find they forget to get dressed since having the baby? Once she is down for a nap there is always something that needs to be done so come 5pm I find myself still in my Pj's with my hair all over the place! xx

I had a shower today for the first time in 3 days. I have only worn tracksuit bottoms and pyjama tops for the past 4 weeks. I don't have time to brush my hair and forget even to brush my teeth or clean my face in the mornings.

Pixxie - some days I dont manage to get dressed. I'm still in pjs now actually Kids are dressed, its just me

Nat - you have 2 so I can imagine how short on "you time" you'd be. I sometimes get to lunchtime n think "right I HAVE to go wash n brush my teeth"

Does everyone else have their postnatal appoinment through yet? Alex has his 6 week check at 1:50 on 5th Jan then the day after I have my postnatal check at 4pm! GRR Why cant they do them the same day so I dont have to troll down there with 2 kiddies twice? fooools lol
