Its okay they told me wait a couple days and see if I get my period and if it comes up positive then get tested again...I tested yesterday and it seems darker today...so is that good?

The darkness matters, a little bit, partially because your fluid intake (including the amount of water in your food) can alter the amount of hCG in your urine.

But a positive is still as positive, and that's reason enough to maintain optimism!!! I really do hope your home test was just a little better then the blood test. On that note, you said the blood test was "negative" - I'm assuming it was a qualitative test (lab report only says "positive"/"pregnant" or "negative"/"not pregnant") and not a quantitative test which actually reports an hCG level in mIU/mL - if I am mistaken and it was the kind with a numerical value, would you mind telling us what it was?

I think I spoke to soon I think af is here ill see if she comes full force tomorrow really thought this was it I'm trying to see the good in this..told hubby that now I might be able to try out my new coffee maker afterall and drink on new years... :/ trying to be happy. Hubby is getting a SA done Saturday morning so hopefully everything is okay with him

The bfp was light so maybe it was my imagination. :/

If the line was there, it was there - lightness/darkness doesn't matter. Hopefully, you just had a later implantation and the progesterone didn't rise enough to completely shut off your period, yet (also normal).

If it was a chemical, it's usually a problem with implantation - though you've been trying for awhile and an SA is probably good for peace of mind if nothing else. I just had a friend with a blighted ovum/D&C at 9 weeks and did a ton of research on the aftereffects of pregnancy failure and a lot of women have viable, healthy pregnancies in the first few months afterwards - so let's hope it's not the worst case, but if it is, hopefully it was just a trial run and your next one will be the most sticky egg ever!

I think af is here not preggo. I could have sworn it wasn't a evap. Line it had Color...oh well on to the next cycle. Hopefully hubbys SA is good. I told him I would like that done before we think of doing an IUI this next cycle.

We decided to cancel the SA and just wait a little bit longer and see what happens...figured this is the first cycle I ovulated...so just going with it. Plus Im not sure I want to know...I'm worried it would turn out bad and then I would blame hubby for why we cant have kids or he would blame himself and feel less about his manhood...so I feel good about waiting...we will try IUI this next cycle as long as I ovulate again and everything looks good. Hopefully I have more than one follicle...

Am definitely going to stalk the January thread!!

Levels were 164, which tell us nothing at this stage. (Normal range according to lab report are 9-130 for 3-4 weeks and 75-2,600 for 4-5 weeks). Monday will be the vital info...so thankful my appt is at 8 am so I shouldn't have to worry all day long!
