We're in Australia so our December baby will infact be a summer baby! :D hehe
 
How is everyone today? I am feeling pretty good. I had a little gas this morning and the cramping is very mild and it comes and goes. Breasts are still a little sore around the nipples. I'm trying to stay positive and not stress. Stressing isn't going to help anything. Only 4 wks 2 d today! Can't wait until 12 wks! How is everybody here?

Hey hun i'm not to bad today very tired tho. went to town needed to get maternity trousers for work cos i dont want the women at work knowing i'm pregnant. i'm still going to have to wear my jacket cos i have mega bloat lol

I have the odd cramp pains and strange circular pains and pains at the tops of my legs but thats about it with pains. i woke up this morning at 4.30am needing to wee and wanting chocolate so raided the fridge lol :p

its so exciting all this it still hasnt sunk in yet tho lol

I'm due December 8th! First baby at 39.

I'm still in shock because I'd assumed it would take us awhile to get pregnant due to my age. My cycles the last few months have been very short (23 days) so I started acupuncture this month on CD3. Last period was 2/29 but I didn't ovulate until March 18 (which is when I should have ovulated had my period not come so early last month). Not sure if acupuncture did the trick, but I'm going to continue going until end of first trimester.

Not too many symptoms yet. Not much nausea or boob soreness. Although, food tastes bland and I've developed an aversion to chicken.

I've made my first OB appointments as well. So excited! Congrats to everyone else due in December, I hope all goes well for everyone. :)
 
The vivid dreams are starting to worry me a bit. For three nights in a row I have had the same dream that we are having twins. I would love twins but it would be such an adjustment and very overwhelming!
 
I am soooo sleepy :sleep: except at actual bedtime when I seem to get insomnia :wacko: I hope this passes quickly, I need sleeeeep!
 
i'm sat here trying to stay awake as my sister will be arriving in about 15mins lol

i had dreams but more sexual dreams about a guy at work was so horrible cos felt so guilty. i told hubby he just giggles cos he knows the guy and calls him trolley dolly cos he collects the trolleys at work (i work for Sainsburys ) lol

:rofl: I've been having weird dreams too - although not about the porter's at work haha!
 
I'm also tired during the day but finding it hard to sleep. I've also started to feel a bit sick in the mornings but at the moment some water and a breadstick is enough to sort it. With my dd I was so sick all day from 6-14 weeks. I'm praying it's better this time but it's early days.

Doesn't it seem ages til we can tell people confidently? I've told a few people but trying not to tell too many?
Has anyone else told people already?
 
We've pretty much announced it to everyone already, I think it's a personal choice, for us we had a mc at 5 wks in Dec 2010 and didn't tell anyone, and found it really hard to not be able to talk about it or show how we felt, we had no support, so this time we have told family and close friends :) each to their own...
 
I've posted this ALL over the boards already but I'm ready to repost my happiness (in true pregnant lady fashion, of course): I'm preggo and due December 2nd! Got my :bfp: on March 27th, and confirmed it the next day at the doctor. My first ultrasound is April 23rd- we'll see how :baby: is doing and hopefully we'll have a strong heartbeat and lots and lots of movement!

I've told pretty much anyone I've come into contact with that isn't OH's family (he wants to wait until 12 weeks).

Hey Aelanu! Congrats again! Fingers crossed that everything is perfect at your ultrasound next month :happydance:
 
I had a very sharp stretching feeling in my lower abdomen today while getting out of the car. It really startled me for a minute but then I figured it was just my muscles or uterus stretching? A bit of cm today as well. I'm hungry often but nothing is appetizing at all. I'm pretty picky suddenly. Maybe a coincidence? Other than that all of my symptoms are the same as prior days. I'm loving my little 'poppy seed' in there!
 
I wasn't expecting to have any symptoms at this point, but already feeling some mild nausea, especially halfway through my meals. Hoping this isn't a sign of nasty nausea to come! Also a bit burpy, crampy and tired, but nothing as noticeable as the nausea/bloat.
I'm also quite bloated and the boobs are sore and already poking out of my bra a bit. :huh:
I went to the maternity store today and got one of those belly band things to wear over your jeans so you can unbutton them :haha: Pretty sure my pants were tight anyways from eating whatever I wanted all Winter, but if I can blame it on something else, all the better :happydance:
First OB appt is April 27...I feel if we can make it to that, we'll have passed a huge hurdle.
We've already told my dad who happened to be coming down to visit this weekend anyhow. It will be his first grandchild and he almost cried! Trying to set up lunch with my mom tomorrow to tell her, and will tell DH's family next week at Easter. Waiting until a bit later to tell friends!
