Decidual Bleeding?

I'm not sure where to post this, but I thought I'd try here. I'm not really fishing for "Am I pregnant or not" answers, just seeing if anyone has had this experience?

AF started 2 days ago and has since stopped. Normally my periods are 4 days. Seemed like regular color/flow at first, and yesterday it was a little lighter but still red. Before AF I had normal PMS symptoms. The only thing that is different this time is that "the girls" are still mildly tender, and im still bloated in the pelvic region. Usually there is no tenderness after I start my period. I thought it was my bra, so I took it off last night and they still hurt.

I have heard of some women experiencing what's called decidual bleeding, where part of the uterus lining sheds around the time of the expected period, but they are in fact pregnant. I keep telling myself I'm not pregnant because I just had my period, but I just don't feel the same.

I didn't experience bleeding with my first pregnancy (MMC in May) so, I guess my question is, has anyone experienced continued symptoms after there period, and if so, what was the outcome? If the symptoms continue for a few more days, I'll take a test......

Hey I'm in the exact same situation. Had af two weeks ago but it was weird.. Short and bright red.. Almost mucusy also.. Usually I have sore breasts before af but once it comes they go away but they've not this time.. They're agony..Achey round the side and sharp shooting pains on occasion. Also despite "af" being over I'm still cramping, and my back and hips agony. I was pregnant in July, which turned out to be ectopic, and I feel almost exactly like I did then- with the exception of the one sided pain I experienced then. Done multiple preg tests all bfn. Debating going to doc tomorrow but worried he'll think I'm mad.. How are you getting on did u get any answers?? I told my mum about how I was feeling and she told me that when she was pregnant with me she didn't know as she had an af at 5weeks, then multiple negative preg tests.. She never got a positive test.. And that was just after she'd also suffered a miscarriage.. She's urging me to go get checked out xxx

My mum said explanation the docs have her for the small bleed she had that she thought was af was placenta previa.. But they had no explanation for the negative preg tests..

In the meantime I'm trying to just carry on as normal.. If I'm not preg then i should be fertile about now so gonna keep trying

During a strange haha tricked you cycle I bled for 2 days very light and then spotted for a couple days..didn't test but secretly hoped I was pregnant..well I wasn't. There is a such thing as decidual bleeding and if you take a pg test if it wasn't a period you'll get a positive by now. If your ttc I learned that your body plays evil tricks like it knows your getting excited and half the time when its a bfp cycle you'll be completely clueless.
