Hey ladies with older premies...

My bubba girl was born at 32 weeks gestation so is 2 months behind, i have seen charts and previous posts of mums that say their babies reached the milestone at approx the adjusted age.

Ava did reach her smiling, grabbing, rolling milestone at about 2 months behind her buddies which would be around the correct age adjusted.

Shes now 9 months (Will be 10 months on the 6th May) And isnt sitting up yet. I encourage her daily but she just falls over like an old drunk. Her buddies are all full term and started sitting at 5-6 months. Adjusted she is now 7 months, should she be sitting? Will she perhaps just skip it? She seems more interested in being on her front, she can drag herself along to reach toys and things shes not allowed but not pushing her arms or knees up yet.

Im not bothered about the crawling as ill have to be more on my toes lol but the not sitting is getting a tad frustrating, she cant sit in a highchair properly unless wedged in with cushions or she slips down. We are going on hol in 3 weeks and her not sitting means she wont be able to sit and play with her toys at the table etc she will have to be strapped in all the time. It doesnt bother me a such but i know she would have more fun if she could sit and play with her toys...

What age did you 32 weekers sit and crawl? xx
