I don't think the guy was calm. When he was watching the TV you could see absolute terror in his face, his eyes were brimming. And when he started to cry when he found that poster I don't know what I believe, but I believe that man is very scared x

That was the part where I thought 'oh crap, he's going to be disturbed for life after this'

i love derren brown and love watching his programmes and i loved this one and cant wait until next weeks one, but im not sure if i believe it or not, im leaning more towards believing it than not though

I've just watched it on 4OD. I thought it was quite scary and felt really sorry for him. I did think some parts looked really staged, but if you woke up in that situation then I think you would probably be so terrified you would run from the sick people whether they looked staged or not. xxx

I totally agree!!! There's no way I'd stand thre and let someone near me if I thought they were sick!!! I wouldn't even wanna bloody look at them lol! But I do love him and wanna go see him live with OH! Gonna treat OH for his birthday if there's any shows near the time! Xx

I agree it might have looked very smooth but you have to remember it will be very heavily edited, that whole sequence wouldn't have taken as little as 25 minutes. I still completely have no doubts about him.

I went to see one of his shows (Svengali) and honestly the stuff he did was mind boggling and its like how the hell can he do this stuff!! Didn't see this show - but I am considering going to see him again next year xx

I watched it, and it seemed like the whole thing was scripted. His reactions to things seemed so cliche and the conversation between him and the girl were too perfect iykwim? I found it funny rather than scary?

Looking forward to seeing the last one though

The day I believe Derren Brown's stuff is the day he does one of his tricks (or whatever the right word is lol) on me haha! I think he is fake and that the people in his audiences and tv shows are stooges. I would love to be convinced by him but I'm too sceptical lol. OH disagrees with me though haha!

I've been on stage with him, I assure you he's absolutely not fake

Personally I love Derren, but I really love his old stuff more than th things he does now. He is the most AMAZING card magician, and his smaller tricks are so impressive. I loved 'tricks of the mind' and the things he did in his early days.

I though apocalypse was good, but that the girl was a poor actress. There are aspects I'm not sure about, but hmmmm, I don't know. I'm looking forward to the second half.

Derren is a lovely guy though, we waited at the stage door for him once and he came out and signed my book and was really lovely. That was after I went on stage btw, not before lol!

I loved this programme and can't wait for the next one. I felt really sorry for that guy. Derren has had a lot of criticism on twitter but love how he has responded. I'm unsure if it is 100% true but I really hope it is.
