Grr why do men have to have a say in the toys! so want this for bub when his a little bit older but my OH really dislikes it. Its really not fair i think this would be a great purchace for LO to keep him entertained.

:( he thinks its clutter and pointless. i think its educational for LO and stimulating. YHis not gonna have many toys if the OH keeps saying no to basically everything. GRRRR!

Oh defo persuade him. Its a life saver when LO is about 4-5 months and bored of swings and bouncers just dont cut it. Mine spent LOADS of time in hers :D Maybe get it for a christmas present?

my sister had one of them for her son
they are brillient
i will get one
can i just ask why your oh has all the say
goodluck
xx

its great, if anyone asks what to get lo for xmas they could put money together and get it for u, then that way u didnt buy it.

Our jumperoo was probably one of the best things we ever bought for Ava. She absolutely loved it( still does to an extent) and its great for when I need to put her down but make sure she doesnt get into anything. She was bored of her swing and bouncer by 5 months and this was just perfect.

Ted LOVED his... and we'll use it for this one too. I got ours on eBay, and I know I'll make that money back when we sell it on xx

This was the best buy we ever bought for Jack. Kept him entertained for HOURS!!!!

I had a jumperoo, and it was a LIFE saver!

Keep fighting your corner on it! Show him this thread!!

bribe him with sex! baby will use it from about 4 months (my DD did) and absolutlely love it!! it gives you a much needed break and after a nice break your more likely to have a bit of fun time! haha!
If that doesnt pursuade him then like another poster said, ask family or friends to chip together to get 1 for xmas.
Yes they take up a fair bit of room but the fisher price jumperoo can fold in quite small, we used to put the seat in its side, lift 1 leg up to thread it though the other side and then keep it in place with a bike elastic thing. they really are amazing! xxx

plus you can always pick them up second hand, at nct sales and such, they really are a lifesaver

Perhaps ask some one to get it for the baby for christmas? OH cant say no then =P

My DH said "no" to a few things that I wanted but I didn't care, I bought it anyway! Maybe baby doesn't need a jumparoo right yet, you guys can get for Christmas or early next year. That's the only reason I can think of why he wouldn't think it's necessary to have one.

And BTW, if your DH is one of those who can't stand clutter, he's in for a world of shock once your LO is here!!

If you intend to do any housework between the ages of about 4 months and 8 months then you will NEED a jumperoo. It will keep LO amused for hours and hours and allow both of you time to do stuff. If you don't have a Jumperoo you will have to spend those hours holding baby and manually jumping them up and down.

I'm with everyone else!! We used my sister's jumperoo and it was a lifesaver from about 4/5 months onwards until around 8 months. It's nice for lo to be upright as well. xxx

They are brilliant.

They entertained Katie for hours.

I managed to clean up without worrying she was hurting herself.

You can pick them up for reasonable prices 2nd hand.

V xx

My sister got one for me second hand. Her son LOVES his. Definitely ask for it for Christmas or pay a friend to "give" you one!

I think an exersaucer or jumperoo style exersaucer is a definite must for your sanity!

Merry Christmas I definitely think someone is going to buy one for you! Even if say your mom doesn't want to get one you could always offer to buy it and just get her to gift it. Second hand would also work too.

I didn't have a jumping one as they are a lot more bulky so we had a regular exersaucer that had springs in the leg pillars and so it stil allowed the baby to bounce up and down and it was great for strengthening her legs. She was walking by 9.5 months!! Also the one we had split apart and then you could use the top and bottom to make a figure 8 race track and run cute little cars on it that were toys on the saucer that you removed. Bonus!

I wouldn't have survived without the jumperoo!
